New to online research

Hello everyone , I am new to this online research and data entry job thing, I have just signed up to a site that offers these jobs and I have been given my assignments to do, part of them is to find out email contact of people looking for online jobs, I have been on google since morning and I have been searching and posting as well, some people mail me back saying am scam........am worried about this, please anyone out there who has been long in this online marketing stuff should please offer me some advice so that I can start making headway on my research job.

I like this kind of discussions becasue I get to learn a little bit about all the options that I have and also coment on subject that I like. So far I don't trust sites that ask you to pay in order to become a member to me it smells like a scam, I'm not seying that I will never join one but if I don't get the right amount of positive coments on that site I will not join. :)

Did you have to pay anything to join this? If you have to look for email addresses of people looking for online jobs then this looks like it could be not stricly legal.
There are plenty of online research companies doing proper research, and giving rewards for this (although payment for each individual survey varies considerably, but usually around $4-$10 an hour). You should never have to pay anyone to join these.

Sorry but even if you told me the name of the site i cant help because I'm also new to this work on line things. But there should be somedody to help me I am also looking for help on how to do all this is just so confusing. Actually my 12 years old nice works the computer and the internet way better than I do, she sometimes helps me with simple how to use the internet or some keys.
