At work, our boss always checking on us. No matter how hard, and how honest we deliver our work. He just won't trust us. He would come to check on us time to time, and mumbling a few words, then walk away. Don't you hate that? We always on time, and we always try to do the best for our job. Some boss just really pain in the butt. Anyway, we have to stick to the job until we can find a better one.

Most of the bosses are like that but for a few exceptions. I too had a doubting Thomas as a boss, who always used to view things in a different way and peek at every event in the office negatively. You see we can't change people's innate qualities however hard we may try. The golden rule is Accept people as they areand keep going. With such people we have to avoid confrontations to the best possible extent and try to be safe in our work output. You should not allow the boss to find fault in your job and try to maintain perfection. I know you'll say your boss still shouts at you. After the best endurance, I asked my boss why he uses harsh language and that was the end. We mutually avoided each other.
There is always a change and the inevitable happened. He was transferred as he was at loggerheads with almost everybody not only in the office, but with external agencies as well. He had an unceremonious exit as none of us gave him a party. They mostly meet with such a fate. Never lose your cool by brooding over your boss. After all, it's your health, which you will spoil. Be cheerful and wait for the inevitable which I mentioned that will happen in your case some way or other.

I can understand exactly what you are going through. As even i am facing the same situation. Initially i used to get irritated by the fact that my boss keeps checking whether we are working or not. But later i realized that he has also to answer to his boss. Basically my Program Manager wants to keep a tab on the progress of the issue rather than checking whether we are working or not. He is not concerned about the fact that we sit leisurely sometimes doing nothing if his tasks get complete on time.
In a way my boss is not that much pain in my butt.
