Some people say laugh can help your depressed heart. So, I was thinking, a good joke or a good comedy might help. What do you think about a good comedy. You can laugh about it while watching the movie. After it, you might feel much better. Do you think this method help?

Yes, I absolutely believe watching a comedy can help ease depression. I know it has worked for me more than once. Researchers have done studies that prove laughter is good for one's health. That includes mental health (in the case of depression).

If you're feeling down, it's definitely a better idea to watch something funny than to watch something serious.
There have been times when I was feeling down that I made sure to only watch comedies. I think it does help a bit. It's not a magic cure, but it's better to be positive and upbeat than to be down.

I usually watch a comedy or an action movie to help me get my mind off of things going on or to help with my depression and watching a funny movie and causing me to laugh from a funny line that was said or a scene really helps. I suggest this for anyone that wants a quick change in mood.
