Do you screen your incoming phonecalls?

If you have a caller ID in your landline phone, do you answer unknown names/unknown numbers kind of thing? I usually don't pick it up because usually it is a telemarketer, even if my phone number is unlisted.
What about your cellphone? Do you answer it immediately upon knowing who the caller is or just let it go thru the voicemail and deal with the caller later if you don't feel like talking to that person? I usually answer my cellphone immediately because it is for family and closefriends who has my number.

i always screen my house phone because anyone that i talk to has my cell phone number so it is always telemarketers calling my house and i cant stand telemarketers they try and sell you anything and everything even after you tell them you have no money they continue til you finally hang up and sometimes they will even call back. i am guilty of screening my cell phone calls sometimes if im busy or in a bad mood and dont feel like talking to that person i will not answer and call them back when its covenient or im in a better mood.

lol i totally know what you mean about the crying baby in the background i have a 4 month old and thats all people usually hear when they call me now.

I never answer unknow names or numbers. I figured if its someone I know or something important, the person would have left me a message. Same thing with my cellphone. Even with family and friends I don't always pick up the phone, I always call them back when I feel like its a good time to talk tho.

I don't have call display at the moment, but I am thinking very seriously of getting it. I don't have call display or voice mail right now. A few people I don't always want to talk to did get a hold of my phone number, so it might be a wise investment for me to get some screening services.
