Hi fellow Filipinos!
What do you think does Sen Bong Revilla think of himself?
I dunno what Sen. Bong Revilla is up to (most of the country's officials always have something up their sleeve when they create noise), but he seems to be trying fight for the rights of Filipino women these days.
Is this for real?
He has been hitting on Dr. Hayden Kho and the doctor's exploits on cam as well as Alec Baldwin and his rather distasteful comment about the Filipino people. He has been so passionate in delivering his speeches in the Senate.
But as I recall, Mr. Revilla has also been involved in a string of relationships with other women and his wife also had difficulty taking the situation. I believe if it were not for his wife's loyalty and zeal to keep the family together, they have long gone their separate ways.
I know, somebody has to defend Filipinas, but I guess, Mr. Revilla is not the right person to do it.
Please share your thoughts here.
Thank you and happy mylotting!: D

I am also surprised how interested is he in these issue that he even grandstand about this issue on the senate. I guess spoiledbrat is right about politicians will grab any issue that might bolster his position in his career. Well I do hope he is sincere in all this because we are all trying to fight this kind of abuse for women and he is not using this to bolster his popularity as a senator. I think he is one of the few that is aspiring for a higher political position in 2010 so it may be his way to put up his standing among the presidentiables or vice presidentiables.

Well i guess we all have the same thoughts about that Senator.. Do you think it was just a mere coincidence that this guy had been a news maker lately? I don't think so. Come on. With only about a year left before election, even an elementary kid would notice that his action is so politics.. Had he been like this with the previous national issues???? smells fishy..

Alot of politicians are using the issue just for political purposes. What I can say to politicians is that please dont use the isue for political reasons.

I dont know what sen bong revilla is up to but I think whatever his own motives is, he helps. If you think you can help with the issue why not share it. What makes you all think that he not the right person? Kartina doesnt have a bf right now so I guess its good that there is some man who's trying to help her whatever his motives is. It doesnt mean that if your not the right person but you know how to help someone, you just wont help because you think you're not the right one. I dont idolize sen but I think what he's doing is not bad even its for political or whatever. I dont understand why people always think negatively with other people's positive act.

Oh, puhleeze! This is as deep as he gets, so he can't really be front and center when it comes to real legislative issues. Anybody can defend the Philippines (in the matter of Alec Baldwin), but an "honorable" senator such as himself could have expressed anger in a manner more befitting his office. Is it so hard to ditch his action star persona to protect regard for his office? As for the Hayden-Katrina thing, if he's wise (and I doubt that), he'd keep his nose out of the entire thing. Mudslinging's bound to ensue and he may just find himself the muddiest at the end of the day. JMHO. :)

I guess he is just trying to put some perfume to himself because he comments too much about the issue. I know he has been into showbiz and he was once a celebrity (he is until now) but then why not comment just right? He has still a lot to prove and pretending to be fighting for the rights of women is quite not effected. He is not the right person to defend Ms. Halili and I think he talks too much. Maybe he wants to win next year because election is coming. Anyway I wish he is sincere and not helping for his own benefit.

Be careful. Sen. Bong might think you are one from Hayden Kho's camp. He said so yesterday when his video with another female artist was revived and shown in the tube.
In a way, you are right. With the womanizing issues, he is not a good spokesperson of abused Fiipinas. However, no one can deny that those the senator's other relationship were discrete and the women involved never cried foul. Besides, if he really feel within him to help abused women, that is a good thing, right? I believe though that he could help more if he'll just be in the background and keep his mouth shut.

Maybe Sen Revilla is seeking for more appearances that shows he is really working as public servant. Another way of his early campaign for 2010 election.

yes, this is politically motivated. I receive a text from one of my gayfriend, he told me that Bong Revilla have no right to judge Dr Hayden Kho, because the only difference with him and Dr Kho is that he didnt video his sexcapades. But if we have to count his girls and his kids, i think he have more than what Dr Kho's list. My gay friend also said that if it Ms Madrigal or Mar Roxas or Pimentel, he might consider listening to them because they dont have experiences as what Bong Revilla have.

Don't judge him right away..of course he has a daughter too
And we all know that he was involved into other relationship as well but
things will change..he also realize what he did and maybe right now he want to make things right..and Sen. Bong is in the right position to defend the women of course he is in the position..he got the voice to do so and connection/ influence to catch attention of other people.

I don't know, but it seems like political grandstanding to me. Besides, the elections is just around the corner, maybe that's his way of making the public recognize him again. As for his "fidelity," well we all know the issues he's been involved with. But I think his move is more connected to his plans as running in the next elections (for VP, I believe).

Haha! I couldn't agree more. He's definitely not the right person. I think he's just grand standing. Who knows, he might even hit Katrina Halili after the issue has cooled down. He's well known philanderer. That's what we get for electing someone like him who's just there because he's famous. He's just taking advantage of everything that's happening right now and he want to get in the limelight of everything.

Maybe Bong Revilla just expressed his great concern towards Filipina women who are much abused in the relationship or who maligned by other men. I never doubt his motive anyway, maybe he is just protective of Filipina women who are much abused and degraded.
His "Infidelity" background should not be taken against his crusade, so as long as we are not Lani Mercado we have no right to lambast Bong. Well, that's only my opinion.lol!
