well, here it the states, if you have insurance, you go to your general practitioner (GP) for check ups. I went on Tuesday to ask about a blood panel since its been quite a while since I've had one. Now, a GP is a doctor who does general or family medicine. This is compared to a specialist who only do certain things, like a hematologist deals with blood disorders and a neurologist deals with nerves and things like headaches (migraines). I have gone to the latter but not the former since I have some nerve and migraine problems over the years. I have also been to foot specialists, joint specialists, and others. Normally for a check up here in the states we don't go to the hospital, that's where you go for emergency medicine or if you need surgery.

Hello! These days neither we are getting good foods nor air to breath in.So many people suffer most of the time with lifestyle diseases like diabetes, obesity and blood pressure and many other diseases. So it is better to check up our health at regular intervals and live safe and sound.thanx.

It's been a long time since I was hospitalized. As far as I could remember, I was only 6 years old then when my mom accompanied me to the doctor who told us that I should sumbit myself for hospitalization so I can be taken cared of. With the appropriate diagnoses, proper interventions were given, and I was go to go after 2 days of staying in a hospital.
