Hi fellow mylotters,
I just want to ask you if there are some of you that have this attitude of changing cellphone every now & then or changing his/her cellphone for a new brand always?
Hi, I will say that I am one of the person who always changes his/her cellphone for a new brand always, but it was before, during my college days and during my work days.
I don't know why, but If I have the chance to change my cellphone for a new one , I will grab the opportunity. And I am the one who always updated what is the latest cellphones and I will save my money just to buy it.
But now, since I got married, I just don't like it anymore. I think I have been matured enough to buy new cellphones always. I guess it saves me a lot of money today.
You guys, are one those persons? ;o)

I think you have seen the impracticality of changing phones when your current one is perfectly functional and convenient :) Good for you!
I'm not the type who changes phone often, I only change phones when I have to because my current phone has turned out to be an inconvenience (perhaps it is too bulky) or maybe my mom wants my phone for herself so I'll have to get a new one or a second hand phone. I also don't mind having hand me down phones as long as I don't buy them. If I do buy a phone, I prefer brand new.
Thanks for the response on my discussion!

Hi Oyenkai....
Yes, I think it has been a good decision for me to make. Before, I don't take into consideration the price, I just said to myself that it is important to have a new phone for myself. But I guess I noticed that buying new phones all the time doesn't make it good for me. And now, I am aware of it and I didn't buy phones until my phone is busted. It is a really good thing for me. I save a lot of money nowadays and I can buy more important things than buying anew cellphone.
Thanks for sharing....;o)

I usually change my cellphone after every 2 years. I do not really want to grab the latest version. I always look at a cellphone for specifications that I need. As much as possible I want to continue using my cellphone which still works ok. I don't want to have a file of cellphones in my room.

Hi Anday,
Yes, that is great decision. Today, I really make sure when I decide to buy a new one, I take into considerations the specifications and its features and most of all I will look also for its price. If it is too much expensive or is just right for its quality. I think my cellphone today last for 3 years now and I love my cellphone today. I think I will use it for a long time, coz I care for my cellphone so much and it really looks like a new one to my friends.

Hi there,
I was same as you when I was in still in college. I love new cellphones so much and most especially the new models. I can't help myself of buying new models of cellphones every time I saw it a store or malls. I usually know all the new brand and models also its specifications, features etc. But since I have noticed that my savings are usually low and I keep thinking that I don't need new cellphone every time it releases new brand. So I stop buying cellphones, but when there are times that I see one, sometimes I buy one but it depends on my savings too.

Well, i only change my cellphone when there's something wrong with the cellphone system. Even when i buy cellphone, i don't go for the latest one. I will buy cellphone that suit to my needs and price is quite reasonable. But, i do prefer to have a small and slim type of cellphone, so it's easy for me to hold. I don't like those heavy cellphone. Because it's hard for me to even put inside my purse whenever i am out from my home..

Hi there,
Yes same with me these days, I only change my cellphone if it has some problem, but sometimes when the problem of my cellphone can be fixed, so I will fixed it first and when ready to use, I don't buy a new one. But in case it can't be fixed anymore, that is the time I will buy a new one. But definitely I will check it's features first before going to buy a new one. So that It can suit my needs and also the price has a significant in buying cellphones.

I will change my cellphone if there's a big technology gap between my current cellphone and a new released one. I have lots of important data in my cellphone so it will difficult to transfer them all into a new one. As we know that there's alot of new cellphone release almost every week. So it's impossible to change it everytime there's a new one. We'll lost alot of money. I usually change my cellphone after three to five months of usage. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

Hi Dian,
Yes, same with me before, I usually change my cellphone every 5 or 6 months of usage. I made my younger brother & sister buy my old cellphone so that I can buy a new one. Or sometimes my friends buy it to me, because they know that my cellphone is not that use often and they know that is it brand new when I buy it. But today, I don't buy latest cellphone anymore, when my cellphone got busted, I usually bring to a repair shop and if it works, I still used it. I just remember how much money I spend in buying cellphones before.
