Denver Nuggets most them including the coach are hungry of Championship Ring except Billups but he wants to win it with Melo, Kobe want his 4th Title, Coach Jackson go for the 10th & highest coach ever. Noe his tied @ 9 rings with late Boston Redaugerbach. Superman Howard led Orlando Magic & Lebron the King of the Cavs are so glutton for the NBA title. Hoe Exciting matches in 2009 NBA season?

My gut tells me that it'll be the Lakers vs the Cavs in the final. I think the Lakers will take it inspite of themselves. Lebron James is a better leader and physically more imposing player than Kobe Bryant. On the other hand Kobe is a slicker player if that is the right word and the Lakers are definitely stronger in the paint. That always counts for something in the playoffs. To win a championship you have to take the ball to the hole and make it count. Jump shots will win you a few games but if you can't beat your opponent in the paint I don't think you can be champions. Just as an aside I don't think the extra games will hurt Kobe unless he gets hurt. I don't know why or how but he doesn't ever seem to run out of gas.

I was wrong about the Cavs but I am right about winning it in the paint. Lakers have been beating the Magic in the paint and that is why they are up two games to none. Bynum is getting into foul trouble but is in long enough to make Howard less effective. Neutralize Superman and the Lakers go home champions.

lolz. well, I will support LA Laker for sure. Look like they are going to take the champion this year, and let make it that way.
did you see LA laker played with Orlando Magic last night (Game 2)? wow, Orlando was great also but still lost to laker. GO GO LAKER

Yup, watched it... The reason why Magic lost is the absence of Dwight Howard dominance in the paint... He gave up too many turnovers resulting to fastbreak points for the Lakers.

i think that the lakers will win the championship this year. i still think that the lakers and cavaliers will end up in the finals even though nuggets stole home court advantage and the orlando magic has dealt the cavaliers their first loss in the playoffs. lakers and cavaliers are too strong to be defeated and demoralised by 1 or 2 games even. my bet will be on the lakers due to their versatility and their bench players.

As a Laker fan - of course, I'd pick the Lakers.
For all the reasons stated by the person who commented before me- and then some. Both the western and the eastern conference are exciting! Last night was the first game that was won with double digit leads - 10 points by the Magic against Cavs.
LeBron is a great leader, deserving of the MVP - but he doesn't know how to close a game. Plus, his team lacks the experience thus making stupid mistakes down the road (also a flaw of Denver Nuggets). The Magic can potentially win the eastern conference - as long as they keep LeBron away from the paint.
For the FINALS - the Lakers will have an easier way with the Cavs than with Magic, that I can ALMOST guarantee.

Lakers, as they are leading the NBA final series w/ 2 wins to none.

I don't know anything about the teams that might go to the NBA but my husband loves to see all types of sports and we saw Lakers against Nugets. It was really interesting and what my husban thinks is that Lakers might win the 2009 NBA World Championship. I guess we will know when the last game is played. :)
