Well sometimes we tend to pick up some peculiar habits soon..........we may not even realize that we have picked up that habit from someone and you feel that it has become very difficult to part ways with it.......just like the pic I have added we have two ways to choose.......
I had picked up some addictions soon from my friends.......and I realized that I have fully got into it and I am not able to get out of it.........then on new years eve I made a resolution to quit it..........after about a month I started doing it again.......
Many a times I decided to quit many things but it keeps crawling in.........still I have some habits which I keep giving up and taking it up again......
Have you been in such situation.......what would you suggest to quit some of the bad habits or addiction for good ???????

Sometimes it just takes a lot of willpower and prayer to get out of habits that are bad, or addictions that are bad. I think that the best thing is a support group of people with the same addiction. I don't see the picture because I am responding to this through email so it takes me directly to the box to be responded in but I will definitely check the picture out, of course if there is indeed one and I'm not just confused. In any case, I hope you can get rid of that addiction!

No matter the importance of the picture I am glad to comment under the photo! It helps you earn! In any case, I am very glad your going to prayer meetings and asking for prayer and feel that it's helping you. Good Luck with your habits, again!

yup..i was addicted to have late night chatting with abroad guys and girls..but this habit of mine lead me to poor studies and results..i was academically very strong until i was not used to of this habit..when my 11th standard results in very poor records..then i promised to myself and my family that i will not touch the PC until i have some study work on it..
but it was just a 2 months hold...i always tried to control myself not to regain this habit but can't help started again..but this time i was using this habit into memory booster...i used to take suggestion from experienced people about how to exactly handle this problem..and i secured very good percentage in boards..
i agree there are some habits that you want to quite as you know that they are harmful for you but still you can't help..so i seek a new way ..changing these bad called habits into really good one..

Yes this happens to me too. And what a waste of time! I used to do that especially when I was younger but with age I think I changed a lot. I believe that like any addiction it is hard to change but I guess in my case age helped a lot with that. Now I can do stuff that I stop at some point and then later start from scratch, but it is most of the time due to some circumstances. I guess this happens to a lot of people. Take care.

Well i agree with you on this......the age factor or rather the maturity level in you that gets you think about good over evil.......i guess when we are young we don't have any responsibilities on our shoulders and we tend to take things for granted......but when you step out into that world alone.......you know that you have to take care of yourself and you are alone in this battle......

Hey ! There are good and bad things you can pick up from friends . My friends gave me the extra push to be in theatre and silk club , which is a part of the band .
My jr year in High school i was hanging with 2 smokers , and well it got me started . We smoked in the summer in the parks , and sometimes at a club and then when school started i stopped . Then , i picked it back up again , but finally stopped ! With freinds if they are a downer you might be as well , or that might ruin the friendship .
I suppose with diets i stop and start all the time . I am on again , but look at it differnt . This is for me , and i dont need that , and i drive myself with get the heck out and work your body . after time it is so easy !

You are so very right......FRIENDS.......i think in broader aspect they can really help you shape your life.......you don't even realize sometimes what habit you pick up from your friends........and i do feel that it is very important that we choose our friends wisely or else........we can really get ourselves south......and our troubles and addictions going north......
Have a nice day !!!!!

i agree with what 1st floor said, it needs willpower.
when we want to quit the bad habit ,we begin to think this habit is not good, but when we lazy our mind ,we will think it's not a big deal. But after we picked up the bad habit again ,we will fill guilty .
some things confused me is : i want to keep fit, but i can't keep excising and always eat too much. i just can insist for a few days

No I have never smoked well I did maybe two or three times but I could not do it. I guess it was never for me because when ever I tried I will choke on the smoke and with the nicotin I almost got sick to the point of troingup. I know that it must be hard to quit because I have a friend that tried everything to cuite. From gum ta patches and acupuntor and some other craisy stuff. But not until he got really sick from all that nicotin and had to go to the hospital and saw his wife crying that was the time that he realised that he had to cuite. And he did with profesional help and strong weal.
