To be honest, in my experience people who are middle born children are not the most confident and generally have more issues that oldest or youngest children. I know several people who have 3 kids and it's generally the middle one who has more behavioural issues such as attention seeking, the oldest is treated as more grown up, being the first born and all, the youngest is treated as the baby and often the middle child gets ignored or blamed for anything that goes wrong. This, of course, is not always the case. I can't say that I've noticed anyone that I know who is a middle child is more confident that their older or younger siblings and even as I write this, I have racked my brains trying to think of someone to prove you right but I honestly can't lol :)

dependz..sometimes there's a middle child syndrome going on where the eldest and the youngest are more favored by the parent and the middle is left out. That usually happens if there are three siblings and the middle ones are like sometimes forgotten. Sometimes they are more rebellious. Its what i have observed from my third cousins and in my father's family too.

ya i feel the middle born kids are more confident than the first kid or the last one because the first kid n the last kids are the most pampered n spoilt kids whereas the middle ones are always given resposibilties since there childhood they know how to take responsibilties in a better way
