Do you know a phony person?

There was actually a few people that I knew that were total fakes. One I used to work with and he was a total kiss-up and I thought that it was totally obvious to the higher-ups but they hadn't have caught on and thought that he really liked them.I honestly think that the impression a phony person gives is nothing good and it is a negative one because after truly knowing them you get to know the person and how fake they are and that is something that puts people off. There were a handful of people that found that out about this person and weren't really friends with him but worked with him so had to put up with some of that behavior. I had found it irritating but didn't pay it much attention to feed his hunger to do so more or think he could get away with it around me.
