yes dogs super loving and friendly cats not so much they want you when its convenient for them i think in the animal world dogs are the forever friends and cats a re users lol

yes i have a white German shepherd and would like to get her a friend i would really love a king Charles spaniel what kind of dog do you have ?

To be completely honest, I love both, but cats can be a bit... rude.
Dogs have masters, cats have slaves. Dogs are loyal (like you whether you're nice to them or not, whether you feed them or not), cats aren't (like you if you feed them but hate you if you ignore them).
Dogs will run and play when you want to, and rest while you rest. They don't plan their day out, they play it by ear. Cats don't play, they stalk and hunt. Most of the time, cats have their day planned down to the minute.
Dogs will sit with you and sympathize when you're sad. Cats might do that for a bit, but they'll always want you to stick to the food schedule.
By far, I like dogs better. They're happy and fun, and love to play.

I have to disagree with you. I have 2 dogs and one cat. I love them all.
My cat is very friendly and very affectionate. They are different, but all are very loving...
Maybe I say so, because I love all animals....
