I think its absolutely hilarious. I mean its such a horrible and ridiculous show that I can't help, but love it. The acting and writing just crack me up, especially carusos cheesy lines. I think that anything produced by Jerry Bruckheimer is unintentional comedy.

I used to watch CSI: Miami for a long while and I usually catch it every once in a while as it is one of my favorite shows and if I don't mind watching re-runs. I do have to admit that there are some funny scenes and some really lame predictable lines in the show that have made me giggle and say to myself "You've got to be kidding." But overall the show does offer some enjoyment in terms of comedy although as you mentioned it is really unintentional because it's main aspect is to find clues and solve the problem at a crime scene with evidence and clues.

I always wonder if they do that on purpose or the screenwriters are really that bad.

yeah sometimes, but i prefer CSI:NY, cause caruso is like ... trying to act cool all the time lolz, with his sunglasses hah, CSI NY got some funny moments too, like when they catch the suspects and interrogate them haha
