I am so into my computer - the internet as a matter of fact. It's my personal library, my main connection to the world, my source of juicy information since 1996. I think I'd go crazy without it. My husband is so into his cellphone. He's got the blackberry storm now and he's on the phone all the time talking to his clients and everyone...actually he looks like talking to himself with his bluetooth on. LOL
Anyways since we can go online with our cellphone and we could also dial a cellphone through the internet which one do you prefer to give up if you have to? Cellphone or computer? I would definitely give up computer if there's no internet on it but which computer do not have internet these days? So I think it's cellphone i would have to give up. Besides I'm so slow when it comes to texting. LOL what about you?

At the moment my phone isnt that good so I would glady give up my phone in exchange for my computer.
But in about 2 months I'll be getting an iPhone and when that comes I would rather have that. I mean it can do almost anything a computer can do anyway :)

I'd give up the cellphone. I've never liked it. I feel unconfortable pushing the keys to write an sms and my ears turn red and hot qickly when I use it to phone. Instead I love my computer at such point that I gave it a name like if it were human!!

i would give up my computer as if you really need to use it then you can go to the library and having a cell/mobile phone is easier for people to call you when they need like in a emergency. How would you feel if a memeber of your family was in hospital and you got a email about it the next day as you were out and no on could reach you?If u had a mobile then they can get hold of u anytime. I personally thinkg that we are all spending too much time on the net and have started taking it for granted imagine a world without the net, what were you doing back then instead of being on here. I would gladly give up the pc to get back into old habbits and spend more time outside and in my view life a more active life.

Without a doubt I would give up the cell phone in a hot second! I have 4 of them and never use even one! In fact when I do go out and Have to take one, I actually have to read the instruction book before I leave and put the instructions in my purse so I know how to use the one I grab in case of emergency!
I don't need a cell phone except for an absolute emergency, like maybe being stuck somewhere on a deserted road somewhere or something like that because other than that, there is Always a regular phone where ever I am, so I pick that up and talk to people, except of course when I am in the car driving, and when I'm driving I am sure in the heck NOT going to use a cell phone, in fact I don't know any idiot that would...way to dangerous for other people on the road!
I never could understand why people think that they are so important that they have to have a phone stuck to their ear all of the time...what are they normally talking about? Gossiping or B.S.ing and they can surely wait until they get home to do that.
TRUE, some people use them for business now days but why? There was a time when business was still carried out and there were No cell phones believe it or not...seems like the large majority got along just fine with carrying on their business without a cell phone!

I couldn't agree more with everything you said. I think people get so excited with the fact that they could get in touch with someone anywhere with their cellphones. No more waiting! Like you i only use it for emergencies. I feel more productive searching and learning a lot of stuff online. I've learned a lot of things that I didn't learn from school. It's cool!

Oh thank goodness! I thought I was the only one that felt that way about cell phones! And I agree with you 100% about the Internet. I did well in school but of course I didn't learn nearly enough to really get by, so I learn constantly on the Internet about all sorts of different things and I love it, at least when I die I will know I am half way educated instead of just a person that had to have a phone stuck in my ear all of the time so I could know more gossip!

I would definitely give up my cellphone! I use the computer much more. I cant access the internet with my phone and I would get so tired of trying to do things on that tiny little screen!
I also wish that more people didnt use their cell phones in public constantly! It gets quite annoying to be in the store and have to listen to everyone's conversations. It makes me cringe when I see someone texting while driving. I also hate when people are texting and walking - they dont pay attention to where they are going! I feel like cell phones have made so many people rude that some days I just wish they didnt exist!

LOL i hear you. I also have no patience on doing anything on my cell's tiny screen. It drives me crazy. It's so true...some people are so into their texting that they forget everything else around them. I guess the convenience of being able to communicate with anyone everywhere they go is just so cool to them. Thanks for your response.

My cell phone has internet connection so I can go into internet anytime. But I can give up my computer rather than my cell phone. Its the call that I need most, its the text that I need most. Never mine the computer.

I would give up my cellphone. In the computer i can do so many things when i like.Like listening to music during bored times.Playing games to pass the time.A cellphone is only good when there are lots of people calling you.Otherwise it just remains silent all the time. Now we have opportunities to earn on computer so i sit with the computer most of the time.

I would give up my cellphone - with the computer I will be able to be in contact with my family and since you need a land line for the Internet at least I will be able to ring them on the land line if I wanted to speak to them.
I agree with you, the amount of information you can get out of the Internet is amazing. You can always find something to what you are searching for plus you can shop online now as well!!! Double bonus lol
I don't use my cellphone much, I tend to text people rather than ring them and the people I do ring is my family.

I could very easily give up my cellphone. I do have to have my computer. Since I don't buy the air time for my cell phone and did not buy the cell phone so it could go and I would not even miss it.

Hello gicolet, that's an easy question for me. I would give up the cell phone just because I don't have one and don't think I will ever get one. I don't care to much for a cell phone. Don't need a phone to take around me all the time. Just an extra bill. I love my laptop and would not give it up since I run my own website I pretty much need it. lol. Happy myLotting!

That's a toughie. I would want to give up my cell phone...but if I had no other way to receieve calls at anytime then I would have to give up my computer. I was laid off last Monday and have to have my cell phone with me at all times in case I get a call back for a job. Plus because my boyfriend works nights and I usually work days (til I got laid off) it's our only source of communication sometimes. But I would miss my computer way more than my phone.

I would give up my computer because I use my cell phone when I go some place and if I have car trouble. A while back my car just would not start and my cell phone came in handy. I call my husband and he came and fix it. I can always go to the library or college and use there computer during the day.

What a provacotive question, gicolet. I would give up my cell phone in a heartbeat! My computer was fried by lightning about six weeks ago and it took a month to have a new computer built. I had computer withdrawal!!! I don't particularly like talking on the phone and only talk to a handful of people at that. So it would be easy for me to give up my cell phone.

Oh what a choice. I need both to conduct business. I would say maybe i can go a day without computer. Not the phone. I need that everyday. Even going one day without computer would be extremely hard to do.

argh! hard to choose!! ROFL!! Same as you, I would give up my computer instead of my cellphone.. Keeping in touch with my family and friends through my cellphone is more important.. I use my computer mostly just to kill time. Though I really need my computer for work... I would rather give it up than my family :)

What a good question. Definately I would choose to give up my computer. Not that I would want to, but I don't have a home phone, so it is my only communication to the outside world. I have my emails sent to my phone, so at least I would still get those. I would miss things like mylot and facebook, but at least I could call people in case of emergency and the like.

I would definitely give up my cellphones. I could not give up my computer. I am the same way about texting. I am slow but I am getting faster. I have only been texting only a few months. But, I definitely would give up my cellphone. I could not live without my computer at all.

This question is simple for me to answer.I would give up my cell phone in a heart beat. I used to live without it and i was fine without it. I can make money with my computer, while my cell phone doesn't do anything but cost money. I would rather have my computer.
