I like movies, but don't you just hate it when a movie is stuffed with movie cliches, doesn't live up to the buzz/hype around it or after 90 minutes you are thinking "what the heck have I've just been watching" ? These are some of them in my opinion and fairly recent;
Jumper - That guy from star wars still can't act and the movie is topped with lameness deluxe.
300 - too many half naked men, not enough half naked women.
Cloverfield - Takes ages to become interesting, complete lack of story.
The Mist - I liked this one, however the movie cliches were turning me off. Not to mention that preaching woman character was dragging down the whole movie big time.
Beowulf - Zzzzzz. Until Angelina Jolie turned up with two good reasons to wake up again. Sadly, only for 10 minutes or so. Continued catching some zed's for the rest of the movie.
Epic Movie - As epic as an unflushed toilet.

The movie I always think of as a waste of time is Johnny Mnemonic, with Titanic hot on it's heels, what a dreadful waste of money and time, and in Johnny Mnemonic's case totally nonsensical. Just odd for oddness sake.

Yeah i get how you feel about Johnny Mnemonic, it could have been better. The theme is great but eventually it turned to just another cheap keano sci fi bubble gum cheesy flick... and i wont even voice my opinion of titanic with the mylot TOS and all.

Basically, I'm sure that if you buy into overly sentimental drivel, filled with cliches, bad acting and poor CGI then Titanic is great.
But for the rest of us? Not so much.
