Game 2 of Lakers and Nuggets: The Refs cost the Lakers game 2! What do you think

When it comes to sports, I am a diehard basketball fan. In college, I cheer for the UofL Cards. In NBA, I cheer for the Lakers. Of course, teams do loose, however, I hate when teams (rather I am going for them or not) loose because of a bad or missed call. During last night's game 2 of Nuggets vs. Lakers in a very crucial moment in the fouth quarter--a jump ball--the refs missed two calls that should have gone on the Nuggets. The first being the violation by Smith (on the nuggets) that everyone--but the refs--seemed to see. The second, an obvious foul on Carmelo "Melo" Anthony. Ariza caught the jump ball and then Carmelo knocked him down, causing him Ariza to loose the ball. Now, normally I would let something like that go. However, with the game so close and those two non-calls (especially the violation) costing the Lakers the game has me upset. What do you think about the refs missed call(s)?

Probably the same refs that called the Super Bowl this year. I didn't see it nor did I care but on a Youtube video, 2 sports commentators were talking about how Arizona had calls made against them that were not fouls and that Pittsburgh got every good call. The whole thing stinks. Sometimes I wonder if people are 'buying' victories. Nothing surprises me anymore. I didn't see the basketball game, so I wouldn't be able to give my thoughts on it. You may be right on this.

They could be buying the game. A few bad calls were made during both the East and West finals already this week. I didn't pay attention to the super bowl.

I hear ya. Lousy refs are permeating in all sports, I believe.

Refs are many times idiots in most sports.
