Wow, 25 tatoos, I can't even imagine where you put all those on your body!!! I did not get my first tatoo till I was 38 and I got my second after my daughter was born so only 2 for me. I love them, they are a symbal of the love I have for my daughter and my partner and daughters father.

Well tattoos look great, only when its done proper and with the right pigments for the skin type. Not all people can have a tattoo and look great with them because the color didn't fit right with the skin. Its just like wearing clothes, not all people look good wearing green or bright colors. Pick the right colors, I can't stress that enough.

I love tattoos. I am 27 and currently have 7. One of them is a half sleeve though. I would love to get more and eventually want to have full sleeves on both arms. I think it is great that more women are getting tattoos. Tattoos are beautiful and show individuality.

I'm female, 34 and have 8. I have a 50 cm geisha back piece of which I am so proud. My ink at the moment is worth about £1000 and I will carry on with more tattoos. I think that my tattoos are my personal journal and I love all of them. They are all a big part of me, and, unlike spending loads of money on clothes and stuff that can go out of fashion, my art is timeless. I think that if u love them, then have them. My opinion is that its my body and I'll do what I want to it. Most guys love my tattoos and so do all my female friends.

I am 28 with 14 so I hope you get more. This business is no longer just for the boys.

How attractive do you think those tattoos will make you look when you are 80?

I have ONE large fairy tattoo on my leg, I did not get it until my forties, and am pretty sure that I will not get any more. But, I like the one I have and get alot oif nice comments on it. So, I guess if nicely done and not obscene, I enjoy a nice tattoo on women and men for that matter.

Some women have too many tattoo on their bodies, that just give me a weird feeling on it. Why would they want to do such thing? Aren't that suppose on the wall or patel?

I would like to get a cosmetic tattoo.I would like it done on my eyebrows.I have sparse eyebrows.it is quite difficult because I am obsessed with thick, shapely eyebrows.in the body,I am considering getting one in my lower left leg to cover up a scar.I would also like one in my right backside.I think an artistically-done tattoo is really cool.

I think it is your body and your choice. It is not a choice I would make, but I would change my mind and want to get rid of it at some point. I assume you made the choice and have not changed your mind about any of yours so as long as they make you happy then fine. I do not like the way they look after they start to fade and spread in 10-20 years so I would not get one. But I have more than enough scares that I do not need to add art anywhere except in my home. As choices go tattoos are not considered a forever choice anymore and you are hurting no-one else with these choices. As long as you would not be ashamed for your future children see them and know that thewy will follow your example then your life.

I have 2 tattoos and I absolutely love them! I think there is nothing wrong with tattoos on women - otherwise I wouldnt have them! I say to each their own! If you want them, go for it. If not, that is ok too! I do think that tattoos arent very professional looking, though. So I can understand why companies dont want you to have visible tattoos when working for them. Because of that, both of my tattoos are in places that you would only see if I showed them to you!

I think too many people are getting tattooed as a fad. TV shows make it look cool, but ya know way back when they made smoking look cool and now people think it's nasty. A tattoo, no matter how small is a major commitment. It's the one thing that will be with you forever. Yes, I know they have that laser, but the fact is some people have skin so sensitive that it will scar heavily with just one passing of that laser. And the way they find out if *you* have that type of skin is by using the laser on you and crossing their fingers nothing bad happens. And then there's the sudden boom of tattoo shops across the country since those horrible, horrible shows came out. In most states the only requirement of licensing is a physical. You don't actually have to know how to correctly use tattoo equipment or how to do a decent tattoo. And trust me, the vast majority of "artists" out there are not artists by any meaning of the word. People need to do research, and protect themselves. But usually, they throw caution to the wind and end up with a sub par doodle.

I think most of them are tacky. Especially the "tramp stamp".

I have seen many beautiful tattoos in my time...as well as some pretty funny ones. My husband has several. One is the Geico gecko on his forearm, holding a heart with my name underneath. A good friend of mine of many years, who is also female, got seriously into body art back in the 80's and she probably had $3,000 worth of tattoos on her body, going up her back, along her neck, down one arm and on both legs.

Hi there, I think tattoos can be really cool. Well again it really depends what kind of tattoo. well in my opinion i feel that over doing tattoos on a body can really look unsightly. well but again it can become very subjective. i remember seeing one person with his entire body tattooed, up till his neck. It really looked very cool and artistic. on the whole i really think that tattoo is cool and should be done with careful consideration cause i believe its a descision one have to stick to for the rest of their lives. best regards, alvingb
