Any luck with affiliate marketing?

Hello...I was wondering if there was anyone out there who is involved with affiliate marketing and if you were able to generate a reasonable income. I've tried this "work at home" position with no luck. I find you have to have an enormous amount of time to post ads for the companies, then wait for someone to click on your specialized link and buy the product so you can get you commission. This was supposed to be a job that I could spend a couple of hours a day on and rake in the money...sadly, no money yet :'( This is what I'm wondering because there seems to be some mixed reactions. Is affiliate marketing a scam or can you really make money from it. If you can make money doing this, how much time do you realistically have to invest. Any thoughts, ideas, success stories, failure stories are welcome...I just want other people's opinion before I make a decision to completely give up on this as it is becoming a complete waste of my time.

Hello. I have found some success with affiliate marketing. One of the things I found that helped was building a website that had a blog and social campaign that would increase my organic search. When I came into the affiliate world, I also had alot of frustration. I actually found another vehicle that has made me alot of money and i have only been part of it since april. I visited your 'Drop3Sizes' site. But I am not clear about the system. it would be glad if you describe about the system in detail. How much you earn from the system. Please hare you experience in your beginning stage using the system.
