I used to live by the beach when I was young and we would just dive in and have fun when we felt like it. Cheers!!

I don't live near a beach. But, the Gulf of Mexico is about an hour and a half away. We go there about once or twice a year to swim in the water. It is pretty fun. I think the distance is good because we are far enough away not to be affected by hurricanes, but close enough to visit whenever we want.

I live on an island but no where near a beach, I do not have money for traveling even to the nearest beach.

Hi, I use to live by a beach years ago and it was sonething I always wanted to do but once I was there I didn't visit it that much, it was at the bottom of my road, when I had my son I made more of an effort, it was a nice thought with it being so close. Now I am miles away from a beach, it would take a long time to get there but when I do go I appreciate it more. I don't miss living by the beach as I still have friends who live there and I can visit them whenever I want plus the beaches in Uk aren't as nice as those in other countries ie Turkey wheere my mother in law lives!

I do live near a beach, I'm about two hours away and we've been to Pismo Beach already and the west coast by San Fran and the PCH (Pacific Coast Highway). I love the beach and I've been to both coasts and I'll have to say that the east coast is the better of the two. Warmer water and more stuff to find in the sand.

I have a beach about 20 miles from me, but we live in Mississippi and the beaches are ok here, but I'd prefer driving to Alabama, or Florida where the water is clear. I don't usually go to the beaches here unless its for fishing. Thats about the only way I go.

My nearest beach is about a 40mins drive away as I live near a town and there is no beach near-by.

The nearest beach that I live by is about an hour away but I would have to drive a little further about 30 more minutes to go to a cleaner and nicer beach. Haven't gone in a while but we don't have that nearby beaches around in my town.

I live 2 hours from an ocean beach and 20 minutes from a lake beach. I really miss living in Tampa. I had a house on a lake and was about 15 minutes from the beach.
Where we are now we just cant get up and decide to go to the beach it has to be planned.
