Have you done something even you don't believe doing it ...?

No matter how simple or complex was for you, would you tell us about that moment of decision at some point in your life? I'll give you a couple of examples of what I've done that I did not believe would dare to do so: 1.- Climb up and jump of Six Flags' Daredevil bungee. 2.- Speech improv at uncle and aunt's wedding anniversary. That's just a couple of my little own experiences, how about yours? I bet they're far more interesting ... remember, no matter how big or small eventuality you ran into, you DARED to do it !!!

Mine is really, really simple, I walked over a bridge, I have a huge phobia where those things are concerned and yet I walked over one in the middle of the night.

Hi unbreakable28, Wow, that was some accomplishment from your part, but was it because you had to do it or because you dared to face it?

It's because I had to do it, not because I wanted to do it.

Well taking into account that I am a very shy person and I don't like to be centre of attention... my special friend who was a very well known artist in my country passed away a few years ago, he had been booked for a large charity concert on the Sunday after he passed away, and the guitarist in the band said the band would still be doing the gig as my friend never pulled out of a gig, so my friends keyboard was going to be set up as would have been with no player and his guitar would be setup on stage, which once I thought about it, I thought it was a nice thing to do...when we got there they took us all back stage and when the time came to set the stage up, the guitarist said now what you have to is take this guitar and guitat stand walk across the stage and set it up over that side....I said i could not do that and he just said I had to for my friend....so he put the guitar in my hand and then the stand and pointed to where it had to go...well I did it for my friend, I dared not look out to the audience, to be honest I don't even remember doing it but I did....for my friend.

Hi lilaclady, That must have been a real honor for you doing it for your late famous friend, right? I hope in a good way, you continue confronting this type of situations so you can be less shy each time. Have a happy life !!

I am sure that I have. But I can not think of anything at this particular moment, but I can be a pretty impulsive person there is not a lot that I am afraid to do except sit in a dentist chair and have work done. I also recently had a panic attack inside a cave, I don't understand why, but I did. So I will have to try to get through a cave without having a panic attack so that will be something. But I have never had a problem doing anything up on a stage, I used to dance, and I sing, and I acted in plays so that kind of thing does not really bother me. I have not bungee jumped or jumped out of an airplane or anything like that, part of me wants to though, but part of me is holding back on that.
