Hello,
I talk to my parents on the phone once a week , and share emails almost daily with them . I usually will see them once a week on a Sunday , and they have a big dinner , and my brother most times comes over too with his soon to wife , so it is a nice little gathering . Now that it is summer I will be seeing them alot more with parties and cook outs here at my house . My parents seem to hide away in the winters anway !

Yeah YazEid, I talked to my parents daily when I lived with them before my marriage. My dad and mom are my most intimate persons before knowing my husband so I would like to share everything with them by chatting happily since my childhood.
After living together with my husband, I could talk to them face to face only when we visit them during our holidays. We still keep on contact by talking on phone once or twice in a week.
Happy posting

No, I do not talk to them daily. I talk to my mom maybe once or twice a month and my dad I talk to maybe once in a blue moon. I did call him this past Christmas, but I don't remember how long it's been since I spoke to him on the phone before this. It might have been a couple of years. I haven't kept track! LOL I should make it a habit to call him at least a couple of times a year, even if he never bothers to call me. That way he knows that I still care.

When i was younger and still doesn't have a family on my own, I usually call them 4 to 5 times a week, I think yours is OK, you really don't need to talk to them everyday, but i just wanted them to feel that I'm always here for them, ready to listen because we never get to see each other everyday. I know that parents get to feel lonely and a bit sensitive as they aged, I don't want them to feel that were very far from each other. Now that i have my family. I Usually call them and visit them often, so they get to see their grand kids.

As I work and live in another city, which is far away from my parents, I am not able to see them every day. I call them once in a while to make sure that they are living healthily and comfortably. A call to them is necessary to make me feel rested that they are in good health. Each time I call them, they are very happy to hear me on the phone. I miss my parents a lot and wish them to always live happily and healthily. Have a good day.

I do live with my parents, but I stay over at my boyfriend's on the weekends, so I don't see my parents every single day. Calling your parents that often and also visiting them weekly is much more than most people! My boyfriend lives down the street from his parents, and he often goes weeks at a time without even talking to them! I think the amount you communicate with them is just the right amount. It's enough to keep in touch and let them know that you do care a lot about them, but it also shows that you have some independence. It sounds like you have a good relationship with your parents!

I think it all depends on the relationship you have with them. My daughter took times when she did not call frequently. Then even though she was grown and in college because our relationship actually grew we began to call almost every day. I call my parents very frequently, but not every day!

I don't talk to my parents enough. I work full-time and I also work a couple of hours at another job that I do part-time so I am away from the house during the day and come home late at night and being very tired I don't really talk to them much and leaving early in the mornings for work doesn't help either. I try to make up for it and spend the weekend with them. I still live at home so it does make it easy to spend time with them.

I'm currently living with my parents so I do speak to them daily. However when I am at college, I speak to them maybe once or twice a week.

I see my parents a couple times a week and speak to them on the phone a few times. I think that this is enough, I do not see the need to see them daily unless they was ill. They are very important to me but there is no real need to see them all the time.

I live with my parent. Trust me although sometimes you will feel like they are strict, trust me without parent you'll be more to terminator life.
It is really good to call them almost 3times a week, you are a good and caring son dude that is really super duper punk rock. call them daily is the most sweet way but at least call them 3 times too can be a great way to remembering them since sometimes we are really busy for other business

Be grateful that you still could to visit yourparents once each week.I think, you often call him. But,if your parents ask you to call them more often and you think that isnt problem, just do it.now,I have family and live in different city.I call my mom once a week minimally.Maybe,I depend on her but I need call her to make my day perfect. (sorry my english not good)
