Who's more possesive in relationships, men or women?

I think that women are very possesive in relationships, but I think that men are way more possesive than women are. A women just shows her possesiveness in different ways than a man does, but men are just as bad if not even worse. What do you think? This is just something that me and a close girlfriend of mine, were debating about today, so I just wanted to see how many people share the same opinion as I do..

I think that depends on the couple, I believe possesiveness often develops when there is a few doubts in one of the partners, I have been very possesive women and the same in men but it is usually when one partner has doubts or maybe feels insecure.

I agree, it does have a lot to do with the person being insecure
