Why does my harddrive light stay on.

High myloters i need your help on this one. On my laptop my hard drive light is always on its like its downloading something but its not and i done all the security checks and all the scans all said everything is fine. would any of you have any ideas what this could be?

try restarting your computer in safe mode. If the harddrive light is not on then you have an unwanted (or maybe not unwanted) program running in the background when your computer is in normal mode. Let me know what happens then I can see if I can help after you try this.

Hi jaydee_r34, Thanks i will try that the light has gone back to normal know wow thats freaking me out i look for help about this and it goes back to normal its like it heard me. I will do what you said the next time it starts thank you.
