I have been thinking lately that i want to get married and where would be the ideal place for me.One is the back yard of my home,a cruise ship,on the beach or foriegn country.Last choice is the church.I want my wedding to reflect me as an individual. The church laws sometimes i dont agree with.where would you want to get married?

I want it at my own native land. I want to make a lifetime commitment in my church in the presence of the priest. I want a traditional way of getting married.

There are lots of places that I would LOVE to get married. Scotland (where my great grandfather came from), Senegal, some island somewhere...lol. But none of those really suited me, so my fiance and I are getting married at a small church back in our home state. He has no connection with the church, but I do. It's the church that my great-grandfather went to when he was a little boy and had just moved here from Scotland. It's the church that my great-grandmother used to frequent. It's the church where my grandparents got married...twice because once just wasn't good enough, they had to try it again 50 years later. It's also the church where my parents got married (even though that didn't turn out too well, I'm willing to risk it). It's also where I got baptized, the church my aunt and uncle grew up in,etc.
So, there's a lot of history in that church and I explained it to my fiance and he didn't care where we got married, so we chose that spot. :)
Good luck finding your own perfect location! It isn't an easy task, you just have to weigh the options and decide what best suits you and your fiance!

Hi there!
I really like your idea of getting married in a cruise ship. It sounds really elegant and fun, too. I would like to get married in a church, a traditional wedding. I am married for almost seven years now through a civil wedding and would like to get married in a church when our finances will allow us to.
