Games are great however, it depends on the age of your brother. Is he young (under the age of 10)? If so, you might want to let him use the computer but with you there at his side. Oftentimes children do not understand that the computer is not a toy and will treat it as such. However, if he is older, then you may utlize a time system that allows you to use your computer yet also allows your brother to use your computer as well. There is another solution, if he is older than 10, then you might want to get a used computer that has limited internet access and can only play certain games that you put on it. Either way a good way to work things out is to compromise and allow him to feel as though he is valued and give him some time at the computer. Maybe allow him to have 2-4 hours at the computer a week after his homework and some more time on the weekends. Good luck.

I don't allow small kids to play with my laptop, but it is ok for some bigger ones to play for a little while. It is better not to let them play too long as it hurts the eyes.
