prayers

The first one that comes to mind is my husband and our financial state many years ago. I am the type of person that wants to pay a bill as soon as it comes in. When I married my husband, I didn't know he was the type that waiting until the third late notice was soon enough for him. This went on for a long time, I tried talking to him about it a few times, but it was a sensitive subject and not something I wanted to fight about. I would see these late statements come in month after month and it was really worrying me. So, I found a quiet place and had a long talk with my Father, in the name of Jesus, about it. He knew it was worrying me, He also knew I didn't feel the freedom to talk to my husband about it. Well, within two-weeks my husband did a complete turn around. I was astounded, overjoyed and just awestruck. It did have a down side though, we practically stopped eating out, and having little shopping excursions. That was many years ago. Most of my prayers have to do with understanding things in the bible. I can't recall any of those prayers ever not being answered. There have been times I've prayed for something, then when I got it I didn't even recognize it, and times when I got what I asked for then got mad about it because it didn't come with the bows and wrapping I visualized. Ahhh, Gods children really are a pathetic lot lol

i have never heard of prayers being literally answered but i have seen things happening according to what was said in the prayer, but to let this happen the devotion and love for who ever you think is god must be strong.
