kris allen & adam lambert

I'm a HUGE Adam fan, yet I'm happy for Kris. The one thing I've learned from American Idol is that time will tell. Kris may have won the competition but I'm expecting to see Adam go much further in the music industry!!! Kris is a sweetie. The recording industry takes guys like him, chews them up, uses them, & then tosses them aside. I will be shocked if this doesn't happen to Kris. Adam is wise enough to handle what's thrown at him!!! He proved by singing with Kiss & Queen that he has what it takes to be a lead singer for a lot of rock groups. Personally, I think Idol set Adam up simply for the ratings. I think Simon is working in the background to get Adam a high paying contract. Of course he will draw a commission from this. Think about it, losing was the BEST thing that could have happened to Adam. Kris is locked into a year long contract whereby he has to sing the winner's song given to him by Idol maybe 10 thousand times in the next year!!! I don't see Adam satisfied doing that. He thrived on mixing it up. So, doing the same song the exact same way every time would bore him to tears!!! My understanding is that Adam just can't put out a CD before Kris. Other than that, he can do pretty much as he pleases. If you look back to Season 2 with Ruben Studdard & Clay Aiken, Ruben won. You seldom see him today. Clay has put out a number of CDs & even grandmothers know who he is. Adam had a life BEFORE Idol & he'll have a life AFTER Idol. I still love him & I'm going through DTs not being able to watch him weekly. I was shocked at the number of Kris fans who commented they would NEVER buy an Adam CD. I can't say that. I look forward to hearing more from Kris. I'm just glad I saved Adams pics & purchased his performances through iTunes. Now I get a private performance when really needed. It's not the same surprise as when he was on Idol, but it's better than nothing!!!

Another thing. I don't think Kris murdered "No Boundaries". IMO, Kris's version was better than Adam's. The song suited Kris's voice more. Even Randy said that one. This is the only song that I heard Adam struggled to get through a song. In fact, Kris Allen's "No Boundaries" is growing on me. Haha! It gets a decent airtime in Philippine radio stations.

To me they both had talent but I liked Kris better. To me Adam scremed on some of the songs he sung. I like Kris's music that he sung better but Adam did sing really good. To me they both did well.

I am actually very happy for Kris. He was one of my favorites during Season 8, alongside with Anoop and Matt. Undeniably, Adam is really exemplary but I happen to lean towards Kris. Maybe I got tired of Adam's over-the-top performances and his superr falsetto moments. For me, even though he brings something really entertaining to the table, I find myself not surprised at all; rather every time I see him week per week, I don't get a "Wow Factor" anymore. What surprises me about Kris is that he improves week after week especially his genre-bending performances like "She Works Hard for the Money" and "Heartless" - as for Adam, I can't see any improvement because he's already reallyyyy verrrryyy gooooodd!
