So far, my dog has never been infected with any ticks or fleas. We have been keeping her clean all the while. Basic cleanliness by giving her bath twice a week as per advised by the vet. According to the vet, dogs should not be bathed everyday, otherwise we would have done that because she starts to smell the second day after bath. However, as long as she is clean and healthy, a little smell on her does not matter much.
