LOL!Get a pass in visual programming paper!God is nothing more than that for you for the time being.Anybody in the name of god should make you pass in the subject and that is enough.I appreciate your prayer for the goodness of everyone and I pray for you to pass in visual programming paper.Cheers!

First of all, every religion mentions God as formless, omnipresent, omnipotent...no religious book describes what God looks like, incl. Hinduism. So God cannot exactly appear...even the Hindu mystic saints mention God as light, nothing else and light has no religion so even if I am ever fortunate to behold that light, I would not be able to do anything of what we understand thru our own little worldly pleasures...like happiness, or surprise or whatever...I think I would be too overwhelmed!
I have heard that when Sri Sri Thakur Ramkrishna Paramhamsa made Swami Vivekananda see that 'light' for the first time, Swamiji (then a total disbeliever) thought it was a trick and a perfect hallucination and he even accused Thakur of being a super trickster.

Muslims believe Muhammad was that Kalki avatar...I have come across posts here from Muslim friends, wherein they have quoted from Hindu texts pointing out the similarities between Muhammad and Kalki Avatar, as mentioned in Hindu religious books!
Also note that Muhammad or Christ are not actually Gods, they are representatives of God or Prophets...in that way Hindu religion is the best as if we want, we have direct access to God...we dont need any Christ or we dont need to hail any particular prophet!
I had gone to visit Rumtek monastery last year and there also it was mentioned that Lord Buddha would reappear (I dont exactly remember after how many years)...so I think every religion has this reassurance of somebody appearing on its behalf to lead its followers to eternal glory and destroy the sinners!

Obsolutely right. But Hindus expect Kalki Avatar and Christians are awaiting the Judgement day, where the lord will appear and judgement will be given. So,if a Hindu happens to see Christ or a Christian happens to see Kalki, how will they react. That is my question. No doubt,a divine light can be accepted as God,but will all the other religious followers accept it?

There are many G-ds. If a Deity appeared before me, I would be respectful. I wouldn't change my religion but I would receive a deeper respect for the religion The Deity represents though.

One G-d, many paths.Choose one and be faithful. And don't demean another's path.

That is one wise answer. At the least you accept god can exist according to peoples mentality and every religion have their own ways of depicting their idols. And we can't restrict god to come out only in a specific way.We have to accept him in every form.Cheers!

I don't want to demean any religion either. In fact,I strongly believe each and every religion is a separate window to view the sky from behind and the sky seems partial. We can see the whole sky only we get out of the doors. So,really religion is really a hindrance for a real spiritual person.I just wanted to know people's degree of tolerance towards other religions.Cheers!

I would remember what Paul said in Galations;
1:6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
1:7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
After I woke-up from my faint, I would quote it to him and then tell him to get.
I would really like to know how Joseph Smith of the Mormons would have explained this scripture away. Smith said, and I quote
“He called me by name, and said unto me that he was a messenger sent from the presence of God to me, and that his name was Moroni; that God had a work for me to do; and that my name should be had for good and evil among all nations, kindreds, and tongues, or that it should be both good and evil spoken of among all people.
Of course there's more, but that's another story lol.

I believe there are many gods out there, but only one God, the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. I hearken to one voice and one voice only, the voice that spoke all into existence.
As far as needing Him to be in the exact form of 'my religion' as you put it. One, I have no use for religion, and two, my reasons for cleaving to my God the way I do goes way beyond anything that was taught to me by man. First comes faith, second comes the evidence, and again, I don't follow blindly behind the road of tradition. I don't care how my family believed, my country, or anyone else. There is only one God.

There is only one 'God'. Different religions have different names and different ways of visualising the concept. Some give each aspect of God different names and think of them as different entities. No religion has the 'one true God' and He/She is worshipped in many ways. All real religions know some of the truth but they also contain many untruths and misunderstandings.

who is preventing him from appearing before me?i have been waiting for the day, all the gods of all the religions appear before me. well in that case, i get to be the judge to judge who is the best amongst them and pass judgement. .
yes, i will send them to my hell for further punishments - for writing a faulty book and sending it through false prophets to people. i will teach them how books written by normal human beings are better than the ones sent by them through their messengers. i'm feeling .

Well in olden literature and scriptures we often come across such case where god appeared to people and gave them their word........but i guess today the world is so full of sin god would not even think about coming to earth......but since this is the situation.........i feel i will listen to what he has to say........and trust me no one really knows who god and who's not.......but i have experienced my religion and god........but that does not mean i will go about telling evil things about other religions.........so i will just listen to what he says......and continue with my life........

My faith in what I believe will remain intact. If he is the true God, then He'll be proud of my for having a great faith no matter what I believe. If he is sent by the forces of evil, I'll pity him for not making me follow him.

I know my God wher He is. If God of others come to
me I will entertain him in a good manner. I respect to him
and talk to him in a nice way. I will tell him that this is
my God and I will continue believing this. I will tell him
politely to come to other maybe they will accept you then.
