Everyone loves their parents. But still at some time of our lives we lie to them maybe to prevent any misunderstanding or because of our ego or just simply to protect our image.Well kids always lie to their parents. It is not new to them.I wanted to know if any one had lied about any important decision hoping it will turn good but it did not..

no.i never lied about any 'big' things to my parents.but some small things i lied to them.because i love them,i respect them as they treat me.when some big event come to me.i will likely to talk them and listenning to their ideas.they came to this worlk earlier then me.so they can always have some better understanding of life then me.their suggestions are valuable.but sometimes, when i did something wrong.some small mistakes.i will not tell them.i would like to correct it myself then correct it after their criticisms.

yeah ... i lied ,i skip telling them important info that would
make them worry...
No regrets.. I made with good intention
Anyway I would never make a decision that would hurt any of my love ones
so safe decisions that have no need for consultation

When I was about 6, my mum had to go out & I was home with my dad. He made me a cup of tea but forgot to use the strainer so there were tea leaves floating on top. I got a spoon and fished them out onto the saucer. My dad asked what had happened and, rather that hurt his feelings by telling him I didn't like the way he'd made the tea, I said I'd accidentally bumped it and spilled some. He knew it wasn't true and smacked my hand for it. That's the only time I ever remember him smacking me. About 40 years later, I told him the truth and why I had lied.
