I love to travel and every time I do, I always bring my laptop with me. Sometimes, I get too tired bringing my laptop with me whenever I roam around the place I am visiting. I am just wondering if it is ever safe to leave my laptop in the hotel room? This way I will have more fun touring the area.

I really love traveling overseas and I never take my laptop with me in case it is stolen. I stay in guest houses and unusual accommodation. You will be staying in a hotel so it might be safe to leave your laptop in your room. It would probably be too big to put in a safe. You might go with travel insurance. I hope that you have an enjoyable time traveling.

You are right, a laptop might be too big to place in a safe as most safe in hotel rooms are just for smaller things.

I suppose that it much depends on the quality of the hotel you are in. I have a timeshare so my vacations are in very good hotels or aparthotels. So I can leave anything in my lodgings. How about asking about it at the desk? They might have the answer for you in each case.

You are right. If I am in a reputable hotel, leaving my laptop is really not much of a problem.

if it is not too hot I leave it in the trunk of my rental car. I try not to leave it out if i do leave it in my room. there is a lock you can buy that connects to your laptop and then locks to a fixed object. we use them at work if we haave to leave our laptops out.
