A friend told me of her dream about snakes?

One of my friends was telling me that she had a dream a night or two ago, where she was being attacked by snakes. She said it was really frightening, but then I came and saved her. What could this symbolize?

I saw a movie regarding a female lead dreaming about snakes which symbolizes danger. But I had read more articles and news and some books that are referring to snakes as a symbol of good luck (I think especially when curled). Some even think it is the lucky number 8. In psychology, dreams are interpreted as inner thoughts or sub-conscious thoughts. Dreams occur during light sleep or it think it is called the REM stage or (Rapid Eye Movement) and NREM. REM dreams are more vivid, visual and can easily be remembered. Maybe your friend has a problem or something is troubling her and deep inside her she think you are the one who can help her.
