Sometimes, it's just so hard to fall asleep! Ever stayed up to 1 am, yawning, and yet not falling asleep? So frustrating! I've discovered that the more problems I take with me to bed, the more sleep I lose. And the more warm milk I drink, the faster I fall asleep! Wow... Maybe I should keep a jug of warm milk by my bed... =)
How about you, guys? What do you do to get a good sleep every night??

Wow, lucky you because you can easily sleep upon drinking a warm glass of milk! Me, I have sleeping problems too. There are times that I would feel really sleepy but when I attempt to lie down and sleep, my eyes won't drift to dreamland even if I want it too. I don't know why.. maybe because I'm suffering from insomnia? I don't know really.. I've been like this for almost 3 months already and I just can't get rid of this habit. I usually sleep at around 3 am because of this frustrating sleeping problem. But I will try to drink a warm glass of milk before I go to sleep, just like you did. That was a nice and helpful tip for me. I might buy myself a box of milk later.
Thanks and happy myLotting!

Hmmmm... I'm glad this has been helpful to you... I read more on milk... and it contains alpha-tryptophan, which is essential for producing the neurotransmitter serotonin, which is important for sleep... and that's the scientific physiology of how it works... =) Hope you'll get more sleep.. and a whole lot of milk... =)

I drink an herbal tea, something like chamomile to help make me tired. It usually works rather fast, about 30 minutes or so. I've found that if I don't go to bed when I'm tired right after drinking the tea, I lose the feeling of being tired and find it hard to go sleep. I also use a lavender linen spray as lavender helps relax a person and helps them drift off to sleep. Sometimes a warm bath about an hour or so before bed helps too. If you put them all together usually you can pack a powerful wallop to getting to sleep.

if you are worried, you really can't have a good night sleep compared to a person who goes to bed with less worries. people who are so tired and exhausted from the days work often times fall asleep faster.
as for me, i drink coffee...yes, i drink a cup of coffee before i go to bed. that is how i get a good night rest.
