dieting (atkins-low carb)

I tried several diets before. The only one that has worked for me is the Atkins Diet, Low Carb. I lost around 30 pounds twice doing this diet. What I like about it is you can still eat as much as you want of the right stuff and you don't have to compromise on taste like you would on low fat diets. You can still have the fried food (CHICKEN) as long as you don't put the flour on it. You can eat meat all day long and lose weight. Add a few green vegetables and you're good. I have found ways to make pizza, sites that sell low carb snacks and bread.

I agree that low carb dieting works. I think it is healthier to try and avoid or at least eat less of sugars and high carb foods. It messes up your blood sugar. Overtime I believe that one can put on excess weight/have more health problems in middle age with a high carb diet. Plus low carbing leads to more stable blood sugar and so less hunger and so less eating & cravings.
