Have you ever been on a road trip, when your car breaks down?

Sorry to hear that. It sucks getting your hopes up for seeing someone then finding out differently. I do hope that they can get things up and going and soon get to see you. Nothing better then seeing friends and visiting with them.

My car usually breaks down before I get to leave to go somewhere or when I get back from that trip. Normally cars are pretty nice to me while I am on a trip. I hope your friend makes it soon.

I hope that there is a way that they are able to contact you, and let you know just where they are, etc. My husband and I broke down a couple of yrs. ago when we went to Montana to see my sister. We broke down about an hr. or so from her, and were without a Car the whole time. It was really No Fun at all, and after we got back home and found out what the real issue was it lead us to end up buying a NEW car as well.

Yes I was in a band some years ago some of my group and myself could not drive at the time so are friend drove us to were we needed to go. It was some way and as we were driving up the motor way, smoke stated to comE out of the engan and the fire. We quickly pull onto the hard shouer and ran up the hill. It turns out that her husband put a blanket on the engan at nigth to keep the cold out and forgot to tell her. Thankfully we made it to where we were Playiang
