Have You Ever Wanted To Quit myLot?

I know that whether we have been a member in here for just a couple of days or a couple of years, we all have had our days where we have felt disgruntled here, and wanted to leave. Maybe some of us even left for a little bit to eventually come back in here to post again. What was your reasoning for wanting to Leave? What was your reasoning to come back? Did you find yourself missing your many wonderful friends in here, being able to talk about almost anything, or just missed somewhere to be? Personally there have been times I might have gotten a little frustrated in here and leave for a day or two, or get so busy I cannot post in here like I used too, but overall I have met many wonderful people in here, and learned a lot, and made some wonderful friends I cannot imagine being anywhere else as well. Wishing you all the Best. ~~TINA~~

NEVER! IT'S AN ADDICTION! Not yet, anyway. I absolutely love myLot. Sometimes I get tired of it, bored with it, and burnt out from coming on too much, but I generally pick it up again a day or two after. I need breaks. I think I left for like a week, and I'm still not as active here as much as I was a couple of months ago - but I'm working on it. . I don't think I could ever leave myLot.

Hi Tina, I will reach my 3rd mylot member anniversary by the end of this year. Yeah, after working frequently for two years and several months here, occasionally an ideal will flash over my mind, that is to stop working here anymore and quit mylot. Yeah, especially when I’m quite busy with my personal affair in real life as well as when I’m in low spirit. When I’m in blue mood I could hardly find any topics which I’m interested to answer But when I have leisure time and feel better again I will login mylot unconsciously and start typing posts as usual again. The past couple of days I didn’t have much spare time to login here. Yesterday I had submitted 2 posts only. I think I would try to eke out at least one or two posts no matter how busy I’m later on. Happy posting

I have never wanted to quit MyLot. I love it on here. I have had some times where I have not been as active as others, because of time, or I've been bored, or other things have come up, but I've never wanted to quit. I've made some good friends on here, and this is one of the few paid sites that is not a scam. I'll take what I can get.

I left for 8 months once, I found this place wasn't giving me much money, I also leave temporarily when I am on a writing assignment because of course they pay a lot more.

HI Tina: No, so far I've not felt that way, I love this place, and I love the good friends I've made here; And I'm so grateful to be on a site that actually pays you to post too; It's wonderful, even though I don't make payout each month I usually do every other month and Lord knows I need all the little extra bits of money I can find and make; So I'm grateful to be on here; and feel very fortunate that Mylot is still able to be up and running with our economy the way it is; Thank you MYLOT!! and Thank you to all my friends here; Have a great Monday!!

I have, back when I was new. I was a member of a lot of sites then, I was hoping to make some cash online. Not only was new to mylot, I was new to all the money-making-online thing too. I learned it the hard way so I'm not a believer about making money online anymore. On mylot though, I learned that mylot pays. But back then they deleted a lot of my posts and I was typing like crazy lol I don't remember now why they did it but I planned to leave mylot for another site but I had bad experience with this other site so I left it for good. I found some good friends here afterwards and that's why I stay. I didn't have many good experiences online so it's kind of wonderful to have even 1 online friends at all, and yet I found more than one here :) So here I am 3 years a member. Not as active as before, but I always visit mylot see if there is anything interesting to respond or comment.

I've only truly left MyLot once, and for about three months. This was after I first signed up two and a half years ago. I signed up for the reason that most people do, wanting to make money just for starting and responding to discussions. I left for the same reason most people do to early on in membership; doesn't seem like much money for the effort. But one day, and I forget what the discussion was about, but the title caught my eye as I was going through my e-mails and I just had to respond. Since then, I have been a faithful participant in this site. I may have short periods where I may not be seen, but I am never far. I have been disagreed with, trolled, and have decided that it was my choice to join this site, my choice to come back to this site and participate, and it will be my choice when I leave this site alone, not someone that doesn't like what I have to say.

Regardless of the many views, of which some I don't agree, with also the many people who take advantage of mylot, I like it here. I might leave for a few days, but don't find myself doing that unless necessary as we usually take the weekends off.

Well, I never think of leaving mylot but becuase of time constraint I was not able to visit mylot for a long period of time. I just visit here once in a while. The reason is, I have no internet of my own and I am not longer working. When I was yet working, I have the opportunity to visit the internet cafe and log on every after work but now? I can only visit the net once in a while. But still I don't plan to leave mylot. Cheers!!!

Hey Tina~ I have found myself feeling like quiting mylot quite often lately. I have not been wanting to respond to discussions lately and have not been able to keep myself interested here like I used to be. Many of my friends have disappeared and it just hasn't been the same anymore. I am trying to get myself back into mylotting again, but it is getting more and more difficult. The discussions are getting less interesting and more repetitive and I am losing interest. I don't think I could ever leave because I have made many wonderful friends here and would miss them terribly. I just hope I can get myself back into feeling like I used to again.

You really have to have a passion to mylot and not be in it for the money. It is clear to me that you cannot make a high amount of money. When I have time I will put more effort, explore and have fun on mylot.

I've been a member for three years and during that time I've often got bored or irritated with it and stayed away for a while. Sometimes for a couple of weeks but other times it's been a month or so. There have also been times when I've been too busy to come on here because I've had stuff to do elsewhere online or in the real world. I've never thought of leaving as in closing my account, I don't really see the point in doing that to be honest because what if someone does that and then changes their mind (which I probably would do!). I would be more likely to just go away and not come back again.

Personally, i haven't think of leaving or quit in mylot as i love here. However, there are times i get tired and bored but not to the point that i may quit. Perhaps a time away, a rest maybe is fine. Well sometimes i could hardly find time to be here though due to limited time but whenever i like to read discussion and get some views as well as advice i always find mylot as the right place for me to share. I never have really thought before that there is a site like this in the first place so i was really amuse to find it and sign up. I never regret since day one since it help me a lot of things in many ways such as making friends, practice my english as well as typing, able to share my thoughts without holding back, able to help by sharing, learning new things from different side of the world and being paid for doing all those. Isn't that great! So how could i think of leaving. Anyway i just hope that this site will continue for long so it will be a long journey till then. Have a nice day!

The most that I'd do when I really get burned out or when I do have problems outside of mylot and need to settle them first, I'll hibernate for most a few months. But I always make it a point to come back. Even when I was hibernating, I did pop in once awhile, just browsing through friends' activities and checking out generally what discussions are and then logged out. I can almost confidently say that I'll never quit mylot. Even though there can be some problems amongst mylotters. But I know that patience is the key to everything and if we are patient enough, there will surely be some results to it. Sometimes, when we are just logging in for a day to chill and relax and just answer at leisure, when we check answers it can be upsetting. Either the person ain't too friendly or there are comments that are not that nice to be read. These are the factors that made one fed up of continuing to participate. Generally speaking though. But I always think of the good side and that there are other wonderful members here that are still willing to share and have a good laugh together. I'd go for that anytime and will just shrug off those negative behavior from some. It is just like in this world where there are people that don't like us and there are that like us. We can't just please everybody, so I will never leave mylot just because I am fed up with people like that. In my best opinion, most members in mylot are extremely friendly and nice and willing to give their best shot at answering.

I have actually left and then come back MONTHS later. After all, as far as I'm concerned it's not a real money making machine it is more to relate to others and express yourself. (That is of course, my opinion)

I have ever want to quit mylot at the first 2 days, because I am not familiar with this website and i didn't want to take time to find interesting things. Because I didn't close the homepage, so now you still can see I am here. :-)
