Refrigerator freon

My refrig. has a small freon leak. The repairman filled it backup to stay cold while waiting for the part to be ordered. Is it dangerous to have freon leaking in the house.

Yeah it's really dangerous, can even cause cancer. Pls dispose it at the earliest.
