You heard me, How much do you read? How many books per week, month or year? Personally I don't read much at all, except the paper every day. I wish I would bother doing it though.

I read on average two books a week. Except when I read Tom Clancy, his books take me longer to read because of all the datail. If I am reading young adult novels I can get through them faster. I love to read and am always reading at least one book. During the school year I do not read as much for pleasure but my amount as far as pages does not change because I actually read my text books. If you want to start reading more I would suggest finding a short book on something that interests you.

I read everyday travelling to and from work and when I can't sleep at night. How quick I read a book depends on how much I'm enjoying it. I recently read 3 books from the Dexter series and read them in around 5 days each. This is 15 minutes in the morning and 40 minutes in the afternoon, so quite good going I think. I also think how quick you read a book is dependent on how you read. Some people can't concentrate just on the book so therefore read less. I'm one of those that get that into the book an hour passes in the blink of an eye.

Thanks for the respond :D That's quite an effort. Yeah, I totally get you maybe the main to why I don't read to much is that I can't find the time when I have school. But I'll try my best.

Every year I set a goal to read 300 books a year. I have yet to reach my goal though. I think I read 150 books a year. I read a bunch at a time then I stop reading for a while. I can finish a 500 page book in a day but I have a huge headache and I dont get anywork done that day. I think that people all read different.

I can not even imagine attempting to read 300 books in the space of a year. I don't even think those people who work as slush pile readers read that many.

I once liked reading. But now I can't spare extra time to read. I've bought several books I'm favorite to read someday. But the day hasn't come yet. I think I must change my life style. I must spare time to think and read.

Try to find time for it when you really could be doing something better. For example I sometimes sit around and watch crap tv shows I don't enjoy, when I could be reading a book instead.

I love reading, but life is so busy I don't always have time for it. On average I probably read two books a month, but there have been times where I've finished an entire book in one or two days.

I read a couple of books a week except for the rest week that I take right after a college semester is over. During the summer, I read maninly for pleasure and business. During the fall and spring semesters, it is divided up between assignments and business reading. I am a history minor, literature major, and a full lance writer, so I end up doing a lot of reading. It is a good thing that I enjoy it, isn't it?

Yeah, when you find a real good book reading is the great. You don't wanna stop reading. Sometimes when I read before going to sleep I end up going to sleep way to late just because the book is so good. Thanks for the respond!

i read a lot.ihad a bet with my friend a long time back that i will read hundred books in a year.i won the bet that year.she put a condition that i should not count Mills& Boons romances as books read to win .i agreed.i managed to read what she approved, 100 books in 12 months.now i can read ONLY 40 books in a year.recently i bought a book by JOHN LE' CARR.its very interesting.i am reading it sparingly to make it last longer, since i rarly get that kind of books to buy or to hire to read in this place.books are a boon to this life of monotony.

She didn't control that you'd actually read the book? Thanks for the respond.
