Well, I will say that I'm in the same case as you. I had been forgetful, and sometimes can't remember things I did a while ago. I do agree with the rest. Do write down the things you need to remember to do on a notebook, and bring it with you at all times so that you can jot down things you need to remember. Do make a point to refer to the notebook for reference.
Another thing you can do is to jot down on your cell phone and when it's time to do certain thing, your cell phone will sound the alarm. I had used that way, when I knew I had a certain thing to do by this time (or at that timing). I find that way very useful...

Yes, that function is very useful, especially for me. I used it to remind myself, and it really do helps a lot for me... Whenever I got an appointment, or I need to do a particular task at a particular timing, I would use the "tasks" function in my cellphone... It can even set the date and time and how long to sound the alarm, so that I would not miss it...

Hi,my dear friend,I can understand your feeling. In fact, I am also forgetful sometimes. Now I have formed a habit of writing down the things that I have to do.I always take a samll note book with me which I think is very helpful. Moreover, scientific researches have shown that some food like walnut, sesame may contribute to the enhancement of memory.Good luck!

I used to be like you, I always forget things in my mind. I even forgot the PIN code of my ATM card twice already in the past! The best way to beat that is, think of a certain thing (either a person's name, phone number or what ever) and repeat it several times in your head. Try it, it works for me. You can also write it down on a small notebook so that you can look at the things that you need to remember.

The secret to memory is that it hides out in places you forget existed. Sometimes I'll forget that there is an underside to my couch. I'll look under there and I'll see memory just preening. We'll say hello and I'll invite it to leap back into my head. Otherwise, it sits two feet below my butt most of the time so I don't know where it is or what it is doing.
You can improve your memory by keeping notes. If you forget something, write yourself a note to remember it. Your brain needs to come back to things like this. My brain, on the other hand, could care less.

I too am finding my memory fading and it is so annoying. I hate when I cannot remember things. I get mad at myself over them.
I will keep an eye on this thread to see what others reccommend.
