Da Vinci Code or Angels and Demons?

I read both books and really enjoyed them... Then I saw Da Vinci in the theater and loved it too... I am hesitant to see the second movie though... First of all they came in the wrong order... Angels and Deamons is the first book, then Da Vinci... Sophie isn't in Angels and in the book the love interest is killed, so I am interested to see how that will play out...

I liked the Da Vinci code better because it stuck more to the original story in the book than Angels and Demons. The latter was all skewed. I mean, don't get me wrong. It's great as a movie but when you read the book, you'll be like, where the fu*k is Kohler? I mean he's a vital character in the book and they took him out? Wow. Thanks for ruining my imagination. But of course, given the time constraint, they most of the times have to skip on certain book parts in order to bunch in the whole story in two hours. you'd have goosebumps more when you read the book. that's another thing. i thought the movie wasn't as horrifying as Dan Brown's eloquent description of the killings! Hey, I have that book. I can lend it to you

I think I like Angels and Demons better. But I agree both are okay to watch especially when youre with your friends. Angels and Demons was more interesting to me..the scenes were cool and awesome.

I just saw Angels and Demons yesterday. It was better than The Da Vinci Code, movie and book-wise. however, there are some noticeable differences in the movie, compared with the book. most espcially in the ending. I'm planning to reread the book to check the movie-adaptation.
