Oh... i missed that! The town adjacent to our place is known for its rich production of mussels, oysters and other seafoods but i have not cooked some for quite a while now since my husband's doctor advised him to stay away from them because of his arthritis. Anyway i still get to eat a little of sizzling mussels sometimes during lunch breaks since it is one of the few seafood specialties offered by an eatery near my office.

Hahaha! We are talking about the same place! I have lived in Bacoor for seven years! I am now residing next town to it and you also pass by it along your way to Dasma. My office is situated near the largest university campus in Dasma and maybe we have also already crossed paths! Small world isn't it? I hope we can soon meet in person.

We are in Cavite but the oyster here is expensive. I like eating shellfish it is also good source of calcium. In my mother's province oyster is cheap and you can buy it without shell. They makes oyster and mussels like bagoong I like it also. I think some people don't like it because of the smell and the taste of cured mussels and oysters. In Visayan region it is very common to them to eat it raw direct from the sea. The sea water there is clean so you can ensure the cleanliness of the oyster and mussels.

I like mussel soup also, but I haven't tried with sayote in it. I just normally cook it with ginger, garlic, spring onion and chili, sometimes if I have coriander I'll put some in the end.
