Smokers and Non Smokers/Drinkers....?

This Subject seems to be a touchy subject for alot of people and why might you ask? Well Im a Smoker, However i do not smoke around my children nor would i consider it i always do it outside even at resturants. Smoking is a Chioce you make on your own. I myself have seen many post on here about smoking. Yes i agree with a lot of people smoking should be banned in cars with children,resturants,that sort of thing Because its a Respect thing. However i dont think smoking should be banned in bars BECAUSE your out to have a good time and why should a smoker leave from having a good time because a non-smoker is getting sick from it or because they jsut dont smoke at all? Alot of non smokers are getting to the point that they should have the respect for them and not for others and its not right. Smoking does kill people HOWEVER the person that gets killed from smoking that was a choice they made and new there was a chance it could kill them but they done it anyways. Prices are going up for smokers like a train but what about drinkers? You dont see beer prices going up? Why because the feel it dont kill people when really it does and it kills people on a daily basis. What is your opinion on it? Do you think that Smoking can kill faster than a drunk driver? or do you feel that a drunk will kill before smoking will? PLease share your opinions!

i figure you can smoke for years ,but it only takes 1 time to get drunk and kill yourself or someone else. i agree it would be nice to smoke in bars instead of being thrown outside in the cold or rain. if ya dont like smoke dont breathe next to me, but keep you trap shut if i do.........ya want smoke free air take a walk outside,but dont stand there "in" my smoke shaking your head and mumbling like a child.

I agree totally with that. Some People just want something to talk about. If you dont like the smoke dont go where you know there will be people smoking go to a non-smoking bar not sure there is one but i know here there isnt a bar that you cant smoke in that i know...And even if you go outside your not really breathing Freash air. You got cars and trucks so no matter where you go the air is not freash. Heres another question for non smokers though are they going to stop driving there cars and trucks that can cause health problems jsut like smoking can? NO i dont think so, So why should everyone have to do what non smokers want to do. Sometimes people can be pointless and worse than a 2 yr old child.

As there is a saying that smoking is ingourious to health so it should be understood that it is harmful and as we all know that smoking causes cancer so I still not understand that y poeple like to smok and not only smok they enjoying with smoking.

True...But if you choose to smoke wouldnt that be your problem and not anyone else? Seeing as it was our chioce to smoke and that we do understand the facts and what could happen if we do. The chioce of people smoking isnt up to the world its up to ourselfs.
