Hi...I having been having a significant decrease in motivation lately, and have some mild medical issues that warrant weight loss. Does anyone have any suggestions, websites, etc... that can help with this? I am an organizational type person and enjoy keeping my life organized, so I would think that an organizational tool might help! THANKS!

Check out my blog http//jbergkvist.blogspot.com. It is mainly about hypnosis and hypnotherapy...which is all about motivation :) I will be adding more posts on a regular basis. If you would like me to post one on your specific problem, subscribe and leave a comment. I will write about anything that someone may need help with. Hypnosis is a GREAT organizational tool!

I have heard about sparkspeople.com but haven't been on the site. You might try signing on and seeing if there is a forum you can join. You are full of motivation. Since I know you well, also know you are a brilliant person. I think part of the problem might be the economic crisis. It's effecting everyone in some small way. Didn't get an email notification on this discussion.
Have a good day,

Thanks for the compliments! I checked out Sparkpeople.com and it seems like a valuable resource!! Lack of motivation is internal and I tend to be an externally motivated person (one of my many flaws!). I needed something that reminds me to be accountable to myself until I learn to reap the benefits of a health lifestyle as an internal motivation!

Try sparskpeople.com :) The website has forums to help you get in touch with people who are also trying to lose weight. They also offer goal setting and workout schedules so you can keep track of your progress. There are also calorie counters on the site, I think. :) I hope this helps. Goodluck!
