My playlist is getting old... How do I find more songs that I will like?

I want to know a way of finding new songs and artists from my favorite types or genres of music. For example, if I like a song by Queen a lot then how could I have brand new songs by bands that I will probably like? Hopefully without having to scan through endless songs and playlists until I find one

If you like Queen, then you'll like these other artists' songs too!:
Bullet for my Valentine (haha, my fave band! This one is sorta not related to Queen, but they rock!), Foo Fighters, Green Day, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Staind, Flyleaf, Slipknot, Story of the Year, and System of a Down!
Time to go CD shopping! Jot down all those artists' names in a piece of paper, and buy their CDs! I'm not sure about Iron Maiden, but all others? I'm pretty sure you will. :)

Hey thanx. I actually listen to many songs by Foo Fighters, Green Day, Metallica, Slipknot, Story of the Year and ESPECIALLY System of a Down! SOAD is my fav band of all time I love all of their songs. So sad they broke up but they were one of the greatest bands I have ever listened to! Seems like we have similar taste in music maybe you should add me as friend.

Have you ever used Playlist.com or IMeem.com? I use those sites sometimes. I also use live365.com, it's a free internet radio station that display's the artist you are listening to in a window and they have A LOT of different types of internet radio stations to choose from. If you like Queen a lot have you ever listen to the band called MUSE? To me they kinda remind me of Queen a little bit but they are a newer band. They are pretty awesome! Amazon .com is a good place to search for music also because they give out recommendations and music samples when you visit a band's listing . Good luck!

There are several music collectives online. Try www.musicalfamilytree.com or www.bandcamp.com these will offer quality and talented music from multiple genres and it's all music you won't find anywhere else. Good luck to you. Have you tried myspace at all?
