Girls just love to text

From my own observation, girls are the frequent text users on their cell phone. In comparison to guys, girls text more than 100 times a day, (that is my exaggerated estimate figure). They text while they have time, unless she is occupying on something at the moment.
At my work, several girls among the age 22 - 30, they text constantly while they are at break time. They text sometime while they are at work. I simply don't understand sometimes, why won't they chat over the phone, instead of texting?

I can not agree more that girls text more than boys on their cell phones. Fortunately, I am not such a girl among them.
To be frank, I don't like texting on cell phone and I think it is a waste of time, because it costs much more time than making a phone call. Besides, after sending the message you will unconsciously wait for the returning message from the person who you sent message to just now. Actually, I prefer my friend call me instead of sending me messge and the reason is quite obvious that I have to text back to them.
As far as I know, some of the girl classmates are inclined to text during the break time of classes and some of them even text during the time of having classes. I am use to taking a seat near a girl classmate and she is use to texting to her friends when she has time.Sometimes I feel quite tired of seeing this for that I can not talk to her but keep silent.

I belive you are correct I see alot of females constantly texing. My daughter and her friends do alot of that and 2 of my co workers and just while your out in public places the majority is female.
Sometimes it is easy to just text rather then to call some time people are on minutes but have unlimited text thats how my daughters phone is.
I do have an excpeption to this though. My brother has a LG full keyboard phone and he can text faster then me and enjoys texting also. Inless he has something very long to talk about and dont feel like texting all of it.

I feel the same way. It's rather annoying to me when people sit around texting constantly instead of just talking. I text to send pictures or I'll text my bf while he's working if I need to tell him or ask him something.
