Have You Updated Your Friends List Lately?

I know with the many people leaving here, and new ones coming in all of the time, your Friends list can be changing all of the time. Maybe yours could be even quite outdated with people who are no longer active in here as well. I am going thru and updating my list and then going from there. If there are people on my list who have not been active in quite a while I go and delete them from my list to make room for New members here as well. Just hoping at the same time I do not accidently delete someone else as well. Have you ever updated your list, or do you just leave it alone just to have it look like you have a lot of Friends still as well? ~~TINA~~

I do update mine every few months. I usually delete people that have not logged in for at least 3 months.

yes I do delete, once in a while, I have too, there gets to be just too many people on the list and they are never responding to the few discussions I put up so I delete.

I did actually start to sort out my friends list a few days ago but as yet have not finished it. It takes quite a while to go through them all and find out who is still active and who is not. I have also been turning notifications back on so that I get a few more discussions too!

I've updated my list several times with people who I've either deleted or added. I try to keep it at a minimum so as to be able to respond to everyone. Now I get the alerts through email so that makes it a whole lot easier and I'm working on making it faster so that I can spend time with my fiance and doing things that we need to do! In any case, Happy Cleaning! It is spring afterall! or is it summer now?

About every four months I go take a look and delete some people who haven't been on mylot in a long time. Still, there are some people that have not longed on in a year, and I keep them. They are people who have had serious health problems, and I keep the hope that one day they will come back and be able to tell us how they are.

I leave mine alone. I don't do it to make it look like I have a lot of friends though. As it is I don't even have my friends listed directly on my profile page. However, I don't see the point in deleting anyone either, except maybe those that cause trouble. But even then I've been fortunate enough to not have to delete someone from my list. Plus, with being on dial-up it would take me forever anyway! Which I'm just not willing to do as it is just too time consuming. Additionally I've also seen inactive members come back. Sometimes they come back after a few months, sometimes a year or more. So, just because they leave mylot doesn't always mean that they will be gone forever. Happy mylotting!

I think I need to revamp my friends list. Most of my friends there are no longer active and keeping them serves no purpose. Maybe more than half of them are no longer members of mylot and some newbies with little participation who have requested for friendships have also disappeared. I can foresee that only a handful of friends will be left that are still active.

I view the friends list as a let in and a keep out list. If they are no longer here I do not think anyone cares whether they are on the friends list (except yourself). I too find the going through pages and pages of "friends" . As far as I am concerned I would be just as happy to have everyone in my friends list so they can contact or email me, have it with a black list to keep the nasties and spammers away.
