So why do PTC sites go scam?

Hi myloters, Over the last few months i have read about so many Ptc sites going scam What is wrong in the Ptc world that they turn scam do the owners feel they will make alot more from scaming there members.In my eyes i feel thats not a very smart thing to do because sooner than later the word will go around about there site becoming scam and then they won,t make any money at all. Or are they realy finding it that hard that they feel they have no other choice but to scam there members what is your view regarding this myloters?
