With our present technological advancement, our scientist has developed a power pill for our astronauts. These power pills can compensate regular food intake coz it contains the basic nutrients that our body needs.
Will you consider taking a power pill to replace your regular food intake? Is it reasonable for those who have busy schedules to take them now that they can't even find time to take a break if it starts to become available in medical stores?
There's a huge difference between survival and living. In my case, even if it becomes available in the stores, I'd only consider a power pill in worst case scenarios - when there's scarcity of food and my survival is compromised, perhaps when at war or famine. Nothing can replace a regular meal coz you tend to enjoy it with the ones you love. We eat not just to satisfy our hunger, eating is also a social activity and there are other needs of human beings that are meant to be met like associating with other people while enjoying the food that we eat.
What's your point of view regarding this?

I am in total agreement with you…heaven help us the day (if ever) our children in the future know only of the power pill and no actual food. Apart from a family bonding, the real taste of different food cannot be paralleled by any other. Power pills may be OK in space, but here on earth, I would love sweating it out in the kitchen, partaking the various seasonal fruits and veggies, the various cuisines the world over…its an awesome fare out there….I would not really miss this for any power pill.

I'd choose a regular meal anytime. I'm not so much a big fan for power pills because in the long run, there might be complications to the kidney. That's what most people tell me. Even when taking aspirins, I refrain unless totally I'm sick or something.

i am no big fan of pills in any form and have to be realy ill before i would take one, i would only use this if i were starving of energy and there was no food availabe, i cant see how this pill will take away your feeling of being hungry though or your stomach feeling empty or the craving for certain flavours of food and surely isnt as satisfying as tucking into and tasting food you realy enjoy
