Do you love to go out frequently and spend your time?

I do not mean taking a travel but I have seen people go out frequently and they love doing it. As far as I am concerned, I do like going out once in a way,[not too frequently] but I find it a bit tiring because after I come back I have usual cooking and cleaning up work at home and so I lack the energy. On the rare occasion I love to go out with family .It is planning beforehand, eating out, and so this would be easy for me when I come back. I enjoy it very much and it would almost be a special occasion. But generally, I stay indoors. I would like to relax with a book or internet or a film on T.V. Do share.

I go for a good mix of both. There are times when I seriously feel like going out every day and every night. I frequent the beach, watch movies in theaters, and eat out. There are also times when I feel like having ME time... here I have a massage or I go to the gym. It's a good balance. I get to enjoy time with friends and with family and I also get time to reflect on things.

Hi Kala I am a working woman and spend most of the time in the office. When i get back home,i am really tired to do household chores and attend my little son.I look forward to weekends when i can spend some time with my son and husband.I do want to go out like in a park or ground where my child can see other children playing and can mingle with them because during weekdays due to lack of time,we cannot take him outdoors. So you can say for his enjoyment and participation we go out once in a week. Otherwise i like to stay indoors with my hubby and son and prefer to serve them home cooked food.I just love cooking and make sure to try out new dishes every weekend. That is my routine.

That is commendable to have the drive to try out various dishes on Sunday for your loved ones. And I can well understand how your litle son would look forward to his Sunday outing.Children are delighted if we take them out , nmoreso when they are small. Thanks for sharing.

I too never go out and wander without any aim or reason.I always plan my outings whether it is the annual holidays or the local shopping.I just finish off all the chores in one go to save fuel and time.I know some people like to go out at the simplest excuse to run away from the household chores and responsibilities. One can never run away from his/her own life. Can he/she?

Certainly not Bala.My mother used to consctantly say that her shadow would always follow her.But some people do find a lot of joy in going out and enjoying themselves. So, are you back from kotagiri?and how was your Srgm trip?

Kotagiri Bangalow - My favorite summer retreat.
I had a wonderful dharsan of Sri Ranganathar. It was a moment of ecstasy and unknown elation. I am happy that I decided to go to Srirangam.Well the Kotagiri was so cool and blissful and more beautiful than last year.I just took rest without going anywhere else expect the evening strolls. My brother in law has won two prizes for his garden and lawn.It was a very well kept rich looking bangalow.I have uploaded a photo for you.

If you had to stay in such a beautiful place why would you feel like moving out except for strolls? If I were in your place I would have also sat and read a book throughout the day except for eating out and taking walks. What a beautiful place ? Is it some quarters ?[govt]

Hello kalav. I don't love to go out frequently, but I do go out almost once half a month as we work for almost two weeks before we have a four-day rest. I work in a boarding school and all the students come from different places of the country. That is why I don't have much time going out of school. But I will try to find some time to go out if I need to do some shopping. Back to my hometown during the two long vacations, I almost go out every day to do some shopping together with my wife. I love going out together with my wife...

My husband and I do alot of things together, both indoors and out. We play golf together, and even if I don't play, will often go to the golf course and drive the cart while he plays. We don't eat out a whole lot anymore. Especially since we found out my husband was losing his job. We enjoy spending evenings inside watching a movie and cuddling on the couch.

Hi kalav, I am a homely type. I do not simply go out without valid reasons. I prefer to stay home to read or surf the net or maybe do some gardening. I can't stand crowded places, I will get migraine attack if am exposed too much to the hot weather and in a sea of people. I am not anti social and I prefer to entertain at home if the need arises with my circle of friends.

i would love to go out as often as everyday as long as i have the money and the time. i work at night so i don't have time to go out because i need sleep during day time. during my rest days, i used to go out. i'm not into nature outing or something to that kind of thing. i only eat out, meet my sister if shes in town, stroll in a mall, things like that..

Meeting your sister and strolling out is a great thing.I am taken to some old days when I used to meet my sister at a library [that was at some distance from her place and mine too--we were living at a fairly long distance away in a big city] and we would chat like God knows what. That memory fills me with such nostalgia.THanks for the response.

i love going out, but offlate i feel outdoors have become polluted and its worth staying indoors. very few places in my town to go out and spend time fruitfully. most people generally want to get into a crowded place which i hate. i love to lie down in a open ground and watch the clouds move or just look at the open sky. while indoors, i prefer my internet or read lots of books. i have a good collection of books that give me good company than anything else. i stopped chatting with people on internet as i find it most non-productive. i have lots of rare books downloaded from net which i read whenever i get free time.

I love going out whether it is window shopping or a lazy walk in the beach. I feel extremely relaxed and full of energy when I go out and see other people with happy faces and good moods. It deviates my mind from the normal and makes me feel enthusiastic. Cooking is definitely not easy once I return as it is normal to be tired, so I plan and finish the cooking in the afternoon itself so that I don't have much to do once I am back. Also when I am out all the junk snacks are so tempting and delicious that I don't feel hungry when I am back. The best part of going out is when you end up meeting someone known. While mentioning this I am so much reminded about my visit to mall where I met an old school friend of mine. Both of us were so excited to talk about our school days and exchange contact numbers.

Ya, some people really like to travel or going around, and i like it too but i do not go out very frequently also. I'll go out mostly with my friends, when they have plans or activities such as go shopping together, go for a movie, mountain climbing, singing at karaoke, and so on. However, if i were alone and want to spend my time, i'll prefer just staying at home. Seems like we're much similar on this, haha. Going out alone will make me feel more lonely, instead of feeling better or easier to kill time. By staying at home i can have my own activites too such as reading books, surfing on internet, just have a nap, haha. These are pretty easy way for me to spend my time.

I like to be at home in my free time. For six days in a week I spend nearly four hours everyday travelling to work and back that I dont feel like going out of the house on a holiday. I usually spend the holiday at home finishing up the housework or else reading something. Will travel only when I am forced to.

Travelling in Mumbai is something I too know of Mayka and so I can well understand your reluctance to go out and the need for relaxation at home on Sundays. How are you?
