Hi my dear fellow mylotters, there's one question as captioned which I would like to know since I jonit mylot~(BUT always forgot to post for the answers). As there's thousand of posts here within very short time, when you come arcross some posts or say discussions, what is your standard for commenting to them? Will you open the posts randomly?Or you just focus in the topics you interesting in? For me,most of time,I just commented to the discussions I interesting in or some funny questions, but never open to ask question randomly. My friends, just tell me yours~~ Have a nice day!!

It all depends on my mood when I 'land' here. Then it depends on what I read and that could change whatever mood I was in in the first place Wherever I respond or whatever I do it must be fun. If it does not attract me then I move on to something that does but with no specific goal.

Hi there tonytt2009! For me, I am the type of person who is very particular about the quality and content of the posts I make. As such, there are a few rules that I set for myself when I post on myLot: (a) I only post to a discussion when I at least have some idea about the topic being asked for, or if I am totally in familiar territory. I will never respond to a discussion that I have totally no idea on. (b) When I make a post, I make sure that I elaborate as much as possible and ensure that I post at least 4 lines of content or substance. This helps keep my posts of high quality and not just one liners that hardly help myself or anyone else. (c) I also do not use abusive or foul language on myLot, because in my opinion, everyone has their right to put forward their views and opinions, and no one deserves to be put down/degraded in any way because we are all equal and we need to respect each other. Besides, it is against the myLot rules to be using such language anyway. (d) I always give credit to posts or discussions that are awesome or outstanding. A pat on the back for such members will encourage them to continue to give their best on this site. Well, I might seem like quite a fussy person, but I am sure with my personality, I help keep myLot a warm and cosy community to be in. What do you think?

Hi there..I have to say that I have different ways of answering discussions. I guess it depends on how I feel like doing it. Usually I will go to see what my friends have started first, I will answer what I feel I can answer or have knowledge about to answer correctly. Sometimes I will just answer any discussions when I run out of recent friends discussions. Then sometimes I go look at the discussions that have no responses and see what I can do to help. I will answer a post on any subject, if I have an answer to give.

Whatever my frenz posts, i will be sure to respond them all ^_^ Be it to my interest or not, i will try my best to give my own opinion in them, unless it's a topic whereby i totally had no ideas in.. haha =D However, if given a choice, i will rather stay away from politics and religions.. haha =D Because some starters or respondents can be highly sensitive to things, and thus i do look through carefully before i decide to respond ^_^

Firstly the post has to appeal to me for me to respond. There are days when there aren't much topics here on mylot to select from. On those days I simply do not participate. Its hard for me to comment on something that does not appeal to me at all. Usually give a good response so that the poster can clearly understand my position/views. One liners are just not my thing.

Hello Tony. Well i generally try to answer the topics my friends started. If i still have more time, i will check out the recent / hot / new categories, or check on some friends that i couldn't find in my friends started, or do a friend by friend topic answer spree (as i said before, i don't use email notifiers), or just search by interest. Of course all i mentioned depend on the time that i have to do this.

Hello tonytt2009!!! For the discussion created by me, I tend to comment each and every response I get. If I don't have anything to say on the response I get, I just end up saying, "Thanks for the response and happy mylotting..." But if the responses are interesting, then I would certainly add up the relative things and if I have the further question, I don't hesitate to put on the further questions. This is the best part of discussing and shows the actual interest in discussions. So i read the every response I get for my posts. If I don't read the response I get, then what is the value of starting discussions and what is the value of the response I get. So, I definitely read every response I get. And about the discussions created by others. It's not possible to reach each and every discussions. Also we can't be able to respond most of the discussions with no any idea about the topic. In my case, firstly I choose the discussions I see in the home page that I like to respond. And then if I am finished with it, then I go to the discussions tab and check out the top discussions, discussions from friends and so on. And sometimes, if I am particularly interested in certain thing, I use the search facility and search the discussion being created of the concern. This will help me to respond in the more nice and interesting way. So, those were mine method for selecting the discussions to respond. I am happy to share about it.... Happy mylotting...

Hi there. I only respond to the posts that i am really interested in,or i don't know what to say. I am sure this is also the standard of most friends here. As long as we thought a post was meaningful, then we responded to it,that was very reasonable. Have a nice day,my friend.

Hi, tonytt2009, I came to mylot for not a long time and my main purpose is to improve my English. So current I just select the topics that are most hot, then I read the first one, then respond for them. I just think maybe 3 month later, I could have the ability to reply a lot of post.

I always start with discussions my friends have started, but I don't always answer all of them. I will go to discussions with no responses, or I will go check out a profile of someone new, if their answers interest me.

Hello tonytt2009, for me to comment or answer a post it has to be something I have an intrest in. I avoid topics that might be too controversial because I want to avoid arguments and headaches and I like living a stress free life as much as I can.Have a nice day too and happy mylotting.

The standard for commenting the posts are very simple. The English used must be very simpile so that it could be understood by everyone. Do not make much grammatical and spelling mistakes. Try to eloborate your answers to a possible extent. Never use any abusive languages. If you do not know about the topics, never try to cook up your stories. Make sure that you type atleast 5 lines per comment or response. One and two liners response will not fetch you even a cent. Be very much open for diference in opinions or vice-versa kind of responses. Try to appreciate the post of others such as Marking Best responses and other stuffs. By following these simple steps, I am sure you could maintain a very good standard of Postings in Mylot.
